🕑 Added 2019-07-10 04:00:20 +0000 UTC“Need a spotter?” Darren asked as he stood over a bodybuilder. Marcus was currently on his back ready to do another set of bench presses.
“Yeah man!” Marcus smiled as he saw another guy close to his size in the gym. Actually it was almost like Darren was a bit bigger than him. He shook it off and was just happy he could go full out. Normally he had to cut back and watch himself. Injury was something far worse than just having to hold back. “Dude, where’d you come from? I don’t think I’ve ever seen you in this gym before,” Marcus said as he started racking up some more of the 45 pound weights onto the bar.
“I’ve been around,” Darren sounds a bit coy as he said it. “I’ve made quite a few changes recently so, y’know, you probably don’t recognize me.”
“Guess not,” Marcus chuckled. “Pretty sure I’d recognize a guy you’re size around here. Normally I have to deal with all these fags.”
Darren cringed at the word but forced a smile through it. This wasn’t the first time Marcus had said something like that. “I guess so. You must have a lot of guys come up and want to fuck you. Probably feels good to have someone who sees you as something more than just an asshole. Then again maybe depends on the guy…”
“Heheh,” Marcus laughed a bit uncomfortably at being called out. It felt so weird all of a sudden. Normally people at the gym were so intimidated by his size. He was by far the biggest one there. But right now he could clearly remember at least once a day someone stopping his workout to ask if he was free later. It was annoying. “Yeah… It’s pretty pathetic they think they could get with a guy like me.” He held up his arm and flexed the 18 inch muscle. Several guys around looked but then went back to their workouts.
Darren rolled his eyes. “You think? You don’t seem like you’re that hard to get with. Just a little persistence and I’m sure you’d get with almost any guy here.”
“No I wouldn’t.”
“Don’t lie,” Darren looked around and spotted a guy staring at the two of them through the mirror. He’d clearly paused whatever workout he was doing, then started it right back up as Darren stared back. “Especially that one,” Darren said pointing to the small guy pretending to do bicep curls.
“Nuh-o,” Marcus’ voice cracked as he tried to lie.
“Jeez, such a late puberty must suck,” Darren laughed.
“It’s not!” again, Marcus’ voice cracked again. “Whatever, let’s just do this.” He leaned back onto the bench and put his hands up against the metal bar. A bit of tension was building in his system. His hands shook as his stomach felt a bit different. Looking at the bar it seemed like his hands were so small against it.
“You sure? I think there’s a bit too much weight on here for you… I’d be impressed if you could do one rep,” Darren said.
“What? I’ve been this for… For...” he wanted to say years but it was starting to not make sense. It was like the muscle he’d been building up since he started high school was all starting to disappear. All the memories of going to the gym before football practice and then continuing after he graduated were starting to disappear. He sat back up and looked at his body in the mirror across the gym. It was like he could see it shrinking before his eyes. Like his large round body was flat and undefined.
“Something wrong?”
“No,” Marcus lied as he lowered his back down onto the bench. The sleeveless shirt he’d been wearing donned its sleeves again while his shorts dipped down past his knees. “Let’s just do this.”
“Alright,” Darren helped Marcus lift the bar off the rack and led him through the motions. It was more of a bicep exercise for him than a chest exercise for Marcus. After the 8th rep he reracked it and leaned down. “You sure you want a bar with this much weight on it?”
“What are you talking about!? Didn’t you see me go through the reps?”
“I mean… I guess it was good practice but I was doing all the lifting…”
Marcus blew a lot of air out of his nose. He was starting to get mad. “What are you talking about! Let’s do it again!”
“Are you sure? I mean you put what 4 plates on here and the bar weighs like 40 pounds so that’s just about as much as you. Isn’t it? I mean at 5’7” and 130ish pounds that’s a pretty good amount of weight for never really working out,” Darren’s smile was so condescending that Marcus just wanted to prove him wrong. He didn’t know why he felt so offended all of a sudden. He just wanted to prove Darren wrong.
Marcus dropped his back down on the bench and found he had to shimmer a few inches up to actually be under the bar. “Alright. I don’t want you touching the weight unless I drop it.”
“Ok, once it starts to fall I’ll catch it.”
Marcus rolled his eyes as he tried to push the weight off the rack. It took so much more effort than he thought it should have. All he could think about was how he thought he’d put 4 weights on each side and that was still supposed to be light. But even with the four weights total that seemed like too much. He pushed with all his might and felt the weight move away from the rack. The sudden change caused his arms to collapse and the 130 pounds were headed right for his chest. He flinched.
“It’s alright buddy,” Darren said. He had such a casual way he was holding onto the weights. “I told you I’d catch it.”
“Yeah…” Marcus felt his face go red as he realized what had just happened. Completely freezing up was the worst thing he could have possibly done but it was the very first instinct that came to his mind. “I guess you were right…”
“Don’t take it too hard,” Darren put his massive hand on Marcus’ shoulder as his arm rounded his back. “Why’d you even try to rack up that much weight? Were you trying to impress someone?” The red on Marcus’ face only deepened as he’d once again been called out. “You were trying to impress someone! Dude, c’mon, you gotta practice safety first. Who was it..?”
He scanned the crowd of people who weren’t really looking at them anymore. Only the guy who’d been pretending to work out. “That him?” Darren pointed him out and both guys broke their eye contact. “That’s him,” he teased. “Pretty big guy. I see what you noticed in him. Big strong shoulders, a thick chest with a bit of weight around his waist but still able to keep that V taper the guys in the magazines always love, then clearly doesn’t skip leg day as that ass pushes out nice and far. Could easily bounce a quarter off it.”
Darren shook Marcus around trying to get his attention as their observer started to grow. His thin body quickly bulked up to something he’d probably never imagined he could possibly be. Muscles built upon muscle. His body kept growing. The boxy shape his form naturally had rounded out. Every one of his muscles was crammed into the t-shirt and shorts he was wearing. But they had a bit more style to them. Instead of just any old gym shirt they emphasized the thickness of his arms by straining the sleeves. While just moving slightly seemed to threaten every seam holding the clothing together.
“What?” Darren pretended he didn’t know what was going on. “Must be that masculine face. The perfect jaw squared with the side of his face, the driven eyes, or is it the backwards cap?” he leaned down closer to Marcus’ ear. “I know what it is… But it might still be a little big for you. I mean I can see it all the way from over here and he’s not even hard…”
Marcus let out a gasp as his hole tingled. He could see the solid outline too. It was rude to stare but he couldn’t help it. How could a man that big be so… Big! His eyes had traced the outline of it so many times. “That’s not it. That’s not it,” Marcus lied as he was actively struggling to fight off the new feelings. He shook his shoulders back and forth but didn’t try to get up. Darren didn’t have him in a tight hold, only a hand limply laid on his shoulder.
“Oh? Then let’s go talk to him. Big guy like him might have some pointers for a newbie like you,” Darren tapped his shoulder then gave a light push.
Before Marcus realized it he was taking steps towards the giant. “Wait. What? No… Hold on… I don’t think…” It was the first time he really started struggling but he found himself trapped inside Darren’s arm. Somehow he just couldn’t get out of it. Like everywhere he moved he ran into the body of the man leading him over to his crush.
“C’mon buddy,” Darren whispered into his ear. “It’ll be ok. I know he looks a lot bigger up close. But he’s interested in you.”
“And how do you know that?” But as he finished the question Darren was gone. “Darren!?” Marcus whispered loudly but it only caught the attention of the giant in front of him. The 8 inches of height difference didn’t seem so big until Marcus had to crane his head back to see the other man in the eyes. His thin lips were pursed and his gaze made him constantly seem unimpressed if not angry.
“Sup,” he grunted as he spun his flat billed hat around.
“Hey,” Marcus gulped as he tried to think of something to say. Anything he wanted to say sounded dumb or childish. “Come here often?” he cringed at the dumb pickup line.
But the guy let out a smirk. He set the 50 pound dumbbells back onto the rack and leaned against it. “Yeah. I’d say I’ve spent some time here.” He crossed his arms just making everything look even bigger. His body seemed to naturally flex as he just stood there.
“Yeah? I’m pretty new… Mind showing me around a bit?”
The guy cocked his eyebrow. “Is that really what you want to see?”
“What do you—“
He just smirked down at Marcus then started walking to the locker room. “C’mon,” he tilted his head as he looked over his shoulder.
“What?” Marcus stood in the same place.
“I don’t like repeating myself,” the guy didn’t bother turning around as he headed towards the locker room.
“Right!” Marcus hopped to, quickly getting himself underneath the other man’s arm. He could smell the sweat staining the other man’s clothes. However, he couldn’t help but enjoy being right there.
