An RPG Story Part 01 and 02
🕑 Added 2019-06-16 01:37:29 +0000 UTCIt was another quiet night in Andrew’s room as he played his MMORPG. The 21 year old sophomore in college didn’t have many friends. Back home it seemed like he was able to meet people easily but now it always seemed awkward or forced. It’s why he preferred meeting people online. He was able to be whoever he wanted to be and no one would be able to judge him. They couldn’t make fun of how small and weak of a cat he was. In the game he was a destroyer, able to beat up any foe that came his way. However, that didn’t mean he didn’t often wonder what it was like to go to the college parties with the other guys.
The night grew longer and Andrew started to become a little bored with his game. His eyes roamed around the screen until they landed on an ad. He looked at the banner ads on the top of the game. They normally advertised for the local singles in his area but this one was different. The ad was for a device that could change your life and those around you. Andrew moved his mouse over the ad but didn’t click thinking it was a virus, but just as he was about to move the mouse off the add his roommate burst through the door. Andrew jumped and his finger had clicked on the ad. A pop up box showed up quickly thanking him for his order.
“Hey buddy,” his drunk roommate started, “I was wondering if I could get the room tonight.” Andrew looked around his desk and saw two women enter the room behind his roommate. Both were under his massive arms as they looked nearly as drunk as him. Andrew looked a little disgusted. He knew what it meant. They’d been roommates for almost a year and this happened at least once a month. “C’mon bud,” the jock whispered in his ear. “It’ll only be for about an hour.”
“Fine…” Andrew responded closing his laptop and walking out of the room. Jeremy gave him a hard slap on the back.
“Thata boi!” he cheered. His body swayed back and forth as Andrew gathered up his computer and headed to the commons area. “Thanks again buddy!” Jeremy called as he left the room.
At this time of night it was always expected that the shared commons was empty. Especially on a Friday. People were normally at one of the frat parties or just hanging out with their friends. “Whatever,” Andrew groaned as he went back to his game. It was late and he was feeling tired but he knew it was still going to be a while before Jeremy was done. The hour would have been a joke to most people but the time he’d been stuck in the bathroom, he could confirm it.
The women always loved it. Hell, Andrew would have loved it. He’d seen the jock naked several times. Despite being a linebacker for the school, his hefty bulky weight didn’t scare anyone off. The mix of confidence and comedy he could pull off always made him the center of attention. His body just helped even more. To Jeremy it didn’t matter that his husky body wasn’t pictured on the cover of any magazines, he wore it proud.
A grin crossed Andrew’s face as he thought about the jock a little more. However he was brought back to reality when there was a knock on the door. Everyone who was supposed to be here had a key to get in. Andrew tried to ignore it until the knocking wouldn’t stop. He opened the door slowly, fearing that someone was going to rush in.
“Hi,” a friendly looking delivery man holding a box said. The brown jumpsuit he was wearing tugged tightly against his body as he help onto the package. “Are you Andrew?”
“Yes?” Andrew stared confused. There was no way a package was supposed to be delivered to him at this time of night.
“Well here you go,” the deliveryman said as he handed Andrew the package. He turned around and then started walking away.
“Hey wait!” Andrew shouted but the guy was already gone. He looked towards the street for some kind of vehicle but there wasn’t any around. “Strange…..” Andrew thought carrying the box back to the couch he was sitting on. He used one of his house keys to tear away the tape on the box. Not sure of what he ordered he opened the box slowly and started removing the packaging. Inside was a small booklet and a PDA looking device. Andrew put it onto the small device onto the coffee table and started to look through the book.
Most of the booklet was full of thank you for purchasing this and if you enjoyed this product try this other one. He finally got to the instructional part he was almost ready to throw it away. It told him to put some of his DNA onto the screen of the device and follow the instructions given. He did as he was told and removed a piece of hair from his body and placed it on the screen. The device lit up and a screen popped up, “ANALYZING.” The three dots blinked in order as the device read his DNA. A second screen replaced the first that had a list of stats.

“CONGRADULATIONS!” a box on the screen appeared. “Quest complete: Register new player. Gain 10 skill points.” Each skill had a plus or minus button next to the numbers that looked like he was able to adjust them. He pondered on what to do with the skills. He ignored intelligence because that seemed pretty high and skill because he wasn’t really sure what that meant. But he tried distributing the points evenly through the rest of the points.

A box appeared and said, “ACCEPT?” Andrew hit the yes button and the machine went blank. Suddenly Andrew’s heart began to race. His body started to feel warm and his muscles started to feel like they had been at the gym all day. He looked down to see his veins start pulsing. His body started sweating and growing hot. It all stopped as suddenly as it started.
Andrew paused and looked in the mirror. “What was that?” he said. His body had grown a little bit of muscle. The shirt he’d been wearing fit him differently. He could see that his arms filled the sleeves better while his chest pushed ever so slightly at the front. “Weird…” he took off his shirt to see what it looked like. He was still a weak little nerd but there were definitely something that was forming. It was like the beginning stages of muscle development. The joy of seeing the tiny bit of muscle added to his body made him want to flex.
“Dude!” he recognized the harsh deep tone of his roommate. Jeremy was escorting the two girls out of the dorm complex when he saw Andrew. “What are you doing over there,” he laughed. “What’s a little pipsqueak like you taking your shirt off so everyone can see?” The two girls giggled as Jeremy jumped over the couch to see him. Despite being so large he could really move. “You wanna see some real muscle just talk to me,” Jeremy took off his shirt and started posing. Even with the fat on his muscles, it was easy to see he was strong. High school football had turned to college football. And even if he wasn’t good enough to go pro, that didn’t mean he wasn’t far stronger than most people on campus. Andrew could have easily fit his arm into Jeremy’s two, maybe even three times.
Andrew’s face went red. He felt intimidated by the much larger man. He grabbed his computer and device and stormed down the hallway to his dorm. “Come on man it was just a joke,” Jeremy called, but Andrew didn’t feel like listening. He could hear the girls murmuring to each other. “It was just a joke…” The door slammed behind him and he laid down on his bed.
After a minute of feeling sorry for himself he grabbed the device again. He looked at the screen and it had a box, “CONGRADULATIONS, Quest complete; Self Improvement. 10 points awarded.” Andrew looked up excited that he had completed a quest.
“Well that was easy,” he thought. “I’ll just add a few more points to me to see what happens.” Each time he clicked nothing happened. He grabbed the instruction booklet and tried to find out why. “Only one change per person every 24 hours.” Andrew threw the booklet across the room and laid back down on his bed. He looked at the device and wondered how high the numbers could actually go. He stared at the screen and noticed three small tabs at the top.

The rest of the choices had a long bar under each of them. Each bar had a slider that looked like it could control a lot. Even though Andrew had only weighed 110 pounds the slider still read at 15% BMI and his 5’7” stature put the height bar pretty far to the left. He wondered just how tall could he get if get the bar all the way to the right.
He then opened the friends menu. “INSERT DNA TO ADD FRIENDS”
“What?!?!” He shot up out of his bed. He ran over to Jeremy’s bed and quickly searched for a piece of hair. He found one on the pillow but it was way too long to be his. Andrew eventually found the short black hair of the rhino’s and put it on the scanner. It took a few moments to analyze.

Andrew took a second to take all the numbers in. Everything was so much larger that his own he couldn’t help but feel jealous. He decided to see what the minus button would do. It was the first time he had tried this so he wanted to be cautious. The points that he took off added up at the top of the screen.

Jeremy returned from helping the lady’s home. His shirt hung looser around his shoulders and neck. A shirt that used to hold tightly against all his muscles no longer showed off his firm muscular body. He went to his bed and laid down. He didn’t even seem to notice how much definition he had lost. For someone clearly being over 300 pounds the almost 20 pounds of muscle didn’t even faze him. His body was still huge.
“Dude sorry bout that,” he started, “I didn’t mean to make you feel bad. I was just tryin to show off for the ladies. Know what I mean?” He sounded genuinely sorry for what he did. Normally that’s how he was, impulsive. “No hard feelings?”
Andrew perked up. He felt a little bad for trying to make his roommate smaller. “Yeah, no hard feelings.”
Jeremy stayed quiet for a few moments. “Hey. You know if you wanna go workout with me you can, right?” Jeremy said. “I am training to be a personal trainer you know so it would be nice to have someone to actually test some of the shit they’re trying to teach me on someone.”
“Huh?” Andrew mumbled. “You’d do that?” He sat up. The offer had piqued his interest.
Jeremy kept his hands behind his head still looking at the ceiling. “Sure, why not?”
Andrew smiled and laid back down on his bed. He looked at the device in his hand. A text box popped up “CONGRADULATIONS! Quest Complete; Add a friend. 5 points awarded.” He now had 46 points. The first thing he was going to do was give them back to Jeremy. Maybe even a few more. Then he’d start working on himself.
Part 02
Jeremy always woke up early in the morning. It was his favorite time of day and the best way to beat everyone on campus to the gym. He knew that most of the guys here just liked to sleep, drink and bang women, well he did too, but he was also training to be a fitness coach. The large jock easily looked like he was built stronger than most brick walls. He loved examining his body in the mirror and flexing his large muscles. Most of the guys claimed he was on steroids. Sure he did try them from time to time but he was big because he had spent several hours a day in the gym for the last eight years. Most of the other guys just started lifting for real after they left high school. He’d started lifting before he’d even gone.
When he was done examining his large body he walked over to his roommate’s bed. “Rise and shine Andy. It’s your first day of working out and I can tell you’re ready for it!” Jeremy had a large smile on his face as he watched the scrawny guy squirm in his sheets. He heard random mumbles but nothing specific. “Alright bud! Time to get up,” He said wrapping his huge hands around the smaller man’s body. With a light heft, Andy had been lifted into the air. Jeremy wrapped his arm around Andrew’s body and slung him over his shoulder. “You said you wanted to work out. So we're going to work out.”
“But… But…” Andrew wanted to fight it but let his body go limp. Jeremy heard his much smaller roommate sigh. At least he’s not fighting too much, Jeremy thought as he carried his roommate across the campus to the gym. Strangers tried not to stare or laugh at the sight of the 300 pound football player carrying the much thinner guy across the campus. When they arrived at the gym, Jeremy set down Andrew and started stretching.
“Okay!” Jeremy said with a large toothy grin. “It’s your first day so I’m going to start you off easy. We’ll just see where your basic level of fitness is and then go from there.” Jeremy led him over to the dumbbells and told him to start out with what he felt comfortable with.
Andrew started out trying to grab the twenty pound weights. They were clearly too heavy for him as he could barely even get them off the rack without using both his arms. Jeremy grabbed a pair of five pound weights and just handed them to him. “We’ll start small and then work our way up,” he smiled again. Andrew looked at the weights and watched how Jeremy easily moved the 20 pound ones. It was like they weighed nothing. He could have thrown them across the gym if he wanted to.
Ever since they’d met, Andrew had always been a bit jealous of Jeremy. He could do just about anything he wanted and had the confidence to make even awkward situations seem completely normal. And at the same it was hard to hold anything against Jeremy because he was so nice and outgoing. Most of the times even when he was a jerk he apologized later. It’d just been an impulse and he wasn’t thinking at the time when he’d done it.
Just like now, Jeremy showed him through several different exercises that worked Andrew’s entire body. He showed him the proper way to do curls, squats, the leg press, shoulder press and even bench press. Though Jeremy made sure not to put any weight on the bar. Even though the weight was so low, Andrew felt his muscles aching through his entire body. He was already starting to regret his decision to start working out. It didn’t matter how nice Jeremy was, he’d never moved his body this much in such a short period of time.
“Alright!” Jeremy said slapping his giant hand across Andrew’s back, “That was a great start. I’ll let you off tomorrow but we’ll start again on Monday.” Jeremy looked up at another guy entering the gym. He was just as big as Jeremy but there was almost no fat to be seen on his body. His shoulders pushed far out from his sleeveless shirt while his chest pushed forward. But based off how thin the straps were on that sleeveless shirt it almost looked like he’d gone shirtless anyways. “YO! Tim over here!” he shouted across the gym not paying attention to any of the other gym goers.
Andrew knew that Tim was going to be big but didn’t realize that he was almost as large as Jeremy. The bodybuilder’s 6’6” frame easily encompassed Andrew’s entire body. Even standing up, Andrew only went up to the man’ chest. Andrew had always thought that Jeremy was the tallest person he would ever know and now there’s this giant. Tim’s muscles may not have been as large or round as Jeremy’s but they were a lot more cut and dense.
“Hey Tim,” Jeremy and Tim gave a signature high five. By this time Jeremy had already forgotten about the cat sitting there watching in awe as the two largest guys he had ever seen talked. “Yo so I’m feelin a bit tired today. I don’t think I can max out.”
“Dude… Have you been drinkin again? You know you’re going to get a huge gut if you don’t stop that,” he poked Jeremy’s stomach fat. “You know you’re not going to be able to keep this hot body forever, right?” The two guys laughed.
“He will if he keeps taking those steroids of his,” a deep voice over Andrew’s shoulder said. Andrew jumped and turned around to see a third giant in a wife beater and shorts. He was much larger than Andrew but Andrew couldn’t help but notice how much smaller he was than Jeremy or Tim. Every time he looked at the other two guys he had a clear sneer on his face. A complement from him would still feel like an insult.
Both Jeremy and Tim looked at the lion and tried to fake a laugh. “Haha,” Jeremy mocked. “That’s as believable as you having a girlfriend.” Devon rolled his eyes.
“Who’s your fucking project,” Devon scoffed. “I didn’t think you were friends with any twinks.”
Andrew was offended but didn’t dare say anything in front of him. Just by his presence alone he knew not to mess with this guy. The constant leer and scowl would naturally keep anyone away if the size of his body didn’t. Jeremy and Tim just stood there too not saying anything. The two just ignored him.
“Whatever. You faggots enjoy your tea party or whatever. I’m going to go work out,” Devon said as he strolled to the bench press.
“God I hate that guy,” Jeremy sneered. “Always thinks he’s the fucking big shot around here.”
Tim agreed but was too busy looking down at Andrew. “By the way who is this?”
Jeremy looked back up at Tim. “Oh!” he said in surprise. “This is my roommate Andrew. He’s going to be my first client.” Jeremy gave another one of his grins and slapped Andrew on the back. Andrew did his best not to complain, or say ‘owww…’ “We just finished up our first day so I guess me and you can get started now.”
Andrew took this as his exit and said good bye to Tim and Jeremy. However there were several hairs attached to his gym back. When they were distracted, Andrew grabbed one and headed for the door. The data quickly loaded into the screen.

“That dude was gay?1?” Andrew’s eyes went wide as he stared at the screen. The jock clearly didn’t ‘act’ gay. But he still couldn’t get the idea out of his head as he walked to the library. “Never would have guessed…” Not looking where he was going Andrew bumped into someone. His bright redish orange hair should have made him very visible but Andrew wasn’t looking where he was going at all.
“Sorry, sorry,” the guy said in a hurried voice. He fumbled through some papers that had looked like they splayed out. “Wasn’t looking where I was going.” He muttered wildly and just about started running away.
Andrew tried to take some of the blame for not watching where he was going but the other guy was already across the street. He looked down at his device and saw that it had yet another new profile. Andrew clicked it open.

"Dang..." Andrew thought to himself as he watched him run away. "Oh well..." However the screen flashed a new sign. 'CONGRADULATIONS! Quest Complete: Mr. Popular. Have 5 accounts saved in the database. New features will be added. 20 Points awarded.' Now he just had to find out what those features were.
