“I just wanted to play a game,” Trevor said. He held out a headset for Austin to take.
“I’m busy,” Austin grunted. He turned over in his bed and went back to looking at his phone. His girlfriend hadn’t texted him in a while and he was getting a little worried.
“Don’t look too busy,” Trevor grinned. “Just one game. It’s really easy to play. I made it with you in mind.”
Austin didn’t know what that meant. The jock clearly didn’t like Trevor. He’d purposefully made sure to spend as little time in his room as possible. But with midterms coming up, no one wanted to hang out. He’d already been to the gym today. And there was no way he was going to get caught drinking by himself on a Tuesday. “Fine,” he groaned as he took the device. “What’s it supposed to be?”
Trevor put the VR device over his head. “It’s really easy. Once we get started you’ll see.”
“Alright?” Austin said. Looking into the screen he could see the start menu. The cursor hung over, ‘Start.’ Blinking clicked the button and it said that it was waiting for the other player. “Are you ready?” he asked.
“Yeah,” Trevor pressed start as well. In an instant the two bodies fell lifeless in their positions. Austin was still lying on his bed, while Trevor had taken a seat. He knew that this was going to happen. Right now their lives were bond together. The game had pulled everything about their lives together into the console and they wouldn’t be able to move until the game was over.
“The Hell was that?” Austin questioned as he looked over his avatar. It was surprisingly realistic to his body. Bubble Defense. Tower Defense. Chess?”
“Yeah they’re just a couple of small games that I built to test out. But if you lose I get to take something from you,” Trevor smiled.
“Take? What? I thought this was just for fun,” Austin said.
“What?” Trevor held his hands up in a condescending manner. “Afraid you’ll lose something?”
Austin grit his teeth. The thought of Trevor acting so much better than him pissed him off. “Alright! You wanna lose? Then let’s play. C’mon let’s get started then. I’ll fuck you up in any of ‘em!”
“Alright,” Trevor smiled, happy that Austin was so willing to take the bait. “I’ll let you chose the order then.”
“Hmmm… I haven’t played a Match Three game in forever. Let’s start with that,” Austin pressed the button and the generic looking game board opened up beneath them. Their bodies were transported to the sky and they looked down at the series of floral icons spread out randomly on the board. Austin looked at them thinking about where to go first. “Is it like other games where there’s power ups for matching more than three or no?”
For a second Trevor was taken aback by the question. “No. Just more points. Match as many patterns as possible. More points for matching the same flowers in a row.”
“Alright!” Austin clenched his fists pulling them down to his side. “Let’s get started!”
“You’re funeral,” Trevor grinned to himself. He could already see his first five moves and knew how many points they were worth. The timer counted down. ‘3.’ ‘2.’ ‘1.’ ‘Go!’ Instantly Trevor went through and matched them as quickly as possible. A constant grin on his face as he felt like he was doing better than he’d ever done in his life. Even though he’d been practicing it was like every flower was falling into position and he was able to rack up combo after combo. He’d gotten several times three and four multipliers. The 2 minute timer was rapidly coming closer to zero. For a second he decided to look over at Austin’s scree. His mouth dropped.
Somehow Austin had gotten a times seven multiplier and was already working to getting it again. Trevor could see him effortlessly making combos to set up other combos so he could then get another multiplier. His eyes watered as he realized the sheer difference in what Austin was doing. It was like he was predicting the next flower to come down and exactly where it’d fall. His eyes slowly drifted to the score.
‘New High Score!’ the game flashed as neon confetti fell around it. On the list it was at least double the now second place one. Austin let out a laugh. “That the best you got? Fuck man I was still warmin up,” he started typing in some initials. ‘ASS,’ it showed just how much he respected high scores. “So now what?”
Trevor started shaking a little as he stood in front of Austin. His body went lifted off the ground and formed a T pose. Clothes ripped from his body and a series of stats appeared next to his body; height, weight, intelligence, etc. ‘Choose your prize!’ the game said. ‘More consecutive wins, better prizes! Current Multiplier: x1.’
“Wha?” Austin said looking over Trevor’s mildly muscular body. However his eyes drifted more to what was between his legs. He glanced over to the stats, ‘Dick: 6 inches hard, thick as a half dollar. Current Prize 3 inches some of thickness.’ Austin smiled as he clicked the accept button.

As Trevor looked at the board it would let him chose. “No I want to pick…” he begged. His plan hinged on the fact that Austin would lose. That Austin couldn’t beat him at any of the games.
“Sorry,” Austin smirked into Trevor’s ear. “This is the rule set you chose. Bubble Defense it is.”
Trevor didn’t have a retort. He didn’t know what to say. All he could think about was his shrunken manhood. Even as the board set up around him and the bubbles started to drop down, he was only barely playing the game. Bubble defense was his worst game and seeing Austin clear board after board as the timer whittled away what little confidence he still had left.
‘WINNER! PLAYER 2!’ the board slowly started to disappear and Trevor again was forced into the T pose showing off his naked body. ‘Current Prize Multiplier: x2’ Austin looked over the list again and thought about what he’d want to take. “Hmmm… How about you’re muscle. And before he knew it Austin had already chosen the next game. The ground work was set up but Trevor wasn’t even playing any more. He was supposed to set up towers along the trail to stop the soldiers from invading his base but he didn’t even place a single tower. All he could do is stare blankly as he lost points for not protecting his base.
The screen flashed again declaring Austin the winner. ‘Prize Multiplier: x3’ Austin looked over Trevor’s skinny, naked, infertile body trying to figure out what he wanted. A faint glimmer of hope crossed his mind as he thought about what he could do to Austin. What he could get back. “Lose,” Austin crossed his arms.
“What?!” Trevor questioned. But he found his hand moving one of the pawns diagonal to his king. “No that’s not the move I wanted to do!”
Austin took over the pawn. “Lose.”
Trevor’s hand trembled over the pawn next to it. He tried his hardest to move any other piece. He couldn’t move that one. But his hand still hovered over it. He could feel his body reacting to the command. It moved forward two spaces. There was no reason for him to move the pawn in front of the knight. He couldn’t believe it he was completely set up. He watched Austin play the queen, tilting it back and forth on the board. Then he slowly slid it across the board.
“Checkmate,” he smiled. The same word appeared in the same bright neon lights all the previous ones had as well. Trevor’s face fell into his hands. He couldn’t believe that he’d just done something like that. But once Austin told him what to do he couldn’t let go. He couldn’t stop himself. The only play going through his mind was the one to make him lose the fastest. He stared blankly then felt his body pulled back into the familiar T pose. His clothes disappeared revealing his naked body. He’d felt like he’d already lost everything but now Austin could still take more.
Austin stared at the menu again wondering what the best option would be. With the 4x multiplier he could chose just about whatever he wanted to take from the other man. He started with the height.
