Wizards v. Dinosaurs // current process

Working this one up, found a new approach that I'm very happy with - this one goes all the way back to my MGS painting where I did that watercolor look. I stopped doing that approach because I never really like how the refinement of that approach ended up looking, so now I'm taking the same approach and instead of rendering in Clip Studio I'm rendering in Krita - it's almost too much fun to work this way, super enjoyable.
I'll do an actual walkthrough for this approach, sorry for the lack of videos but I haven't liked the final images of any of those videos well enough to feel confident telling you all that "this is the way I paint".
Thanks for your support!

I think I just turned off the color jitter and set the default brush size to 1 pixel

Oh whoa this is amazing! I have so much trouble rendering in Krita for some reason. I think I need to play around with the settings more. Did you change your brush settings?
