Welcome back for another Gooeycandy Newsletter, where you get up to date with ALL things gooeycandy! Let's dive right in!
🎨 Art & Project Progress:
So I'm sure many of you know, but just in case you didn't see, the long-awaited Monster Frat House piece was completed finally! Check out the full piece here if you haven't seen it! There's lots of alts and a process video too!
That was most of what got done these two weeks, but I still have a few updates to share!
Since I didn't want to burn out after completing that big piece, I went ahead and did something small I've been wanting to do, and I'm actually really happy with the results. I made matching backing cards for my pins to make them feel more professional!
I've also re-ordered some of the pin designs that were running low on stock! You guys really seem to be enjoying my pin designs, which is great cause I love designing them!
Along with a new pin based on the "Gay Boy Advance" sticker that has been incredibly popular! Here's the mock up!
The purple will be rainbow plating! So look forward to that pin releasing soon!
Also a tiny surprise coming soon that I can’t wait to share with you! Here’s all I can show right now, just a sketch…
👋🏻 Hands On! Progress: I've started working with a new programmer finally! We're taking things piece by piece, so my mission right now is just to focus on the backgrounds for the game. I'll post those when they're more presentable!

The past two weeks have been pretty hectic. I'm finally going on dates again after my break up, and it's strange but I'm having a good time. Trying to keep things casual for a bit but I'm such a romantic that it's hard to stop myself sometimes haha. Overall though, definitely feeling in a good headspace! Most of all I've just been so so excited to work!
⚽ Now to Gooey with Sports: MY NEW DODGEBALL TEAM RULES! I'm having so much fun and I'm playing the best I've ever played... I feel it, I'm gonna get my first medal this season...
🎥 NOW WATCHING: X-Files!
SPOILERS AHEAD!! Don't read if not caught up!
X-Files: I finally started this show and holy shit... I can't believe I waited this long. This show scratches such a particular itch in my brain. It's absurd, but with good writing and characters. It's funny, its aesthetic and god damn Mulder and Scully are both so hot... I'm still in season 1 so no spoilers please, but GOD DAMN that arctic episode felt like a movie.
