[Wednesday] NOLA - Day One, pt 2
🕑 Added 2015-09-17 01:07:42 +0000 UTCManaged to sneak in an hour long nap then it was off to dinner at The Country Club down the street. The weather is absolutely perfect at this time of night with the humidity offset by a nice evening breeze.
We ate on the porch of the establishment where we were joined by a furry little friend (seen above ) who treated himself to some of Lillian's shrimp. As the sun set, the streets came alive with dozens of people on bikes, coming out from their daytime shelter to enjoy the cooled down evening.
Back at Wonderland, the Deradoorian sisters are setting up for their one-off gig tonight, which is scheduled to begin in about two hours.
New Orleans, even with what little I've seen so far, is a photographer's wet dream. Just about every inch of this town screams to be photographed. Thrilled to make it back here after my last visit, nearly 20 years ago.
Tomorrow I shoot the beginnings sets with Lillian around the house; I'm going to try and shoot some high-contrast B&W environmental shots as well.
