New Patrons + News + Poll! ^_^
🕑 Added 2018-07-23 19:40:00 +0000 UTC Hey all!I just wanted to introduce some brand new patrons to our cauldron of doom >:D But first I just want to say that I'm incredibly happy to see so many new faces both playing the game and talking with us in Discord. It's been a blast getting to know you! So without further *insert fancy-pants words here*, let's shout-out to some awesome people. Please give a very warm and esteemed welcome to; Colin, Cutebae, Johnny, Theorigin, Mark W, Steven, Mr.N14, Daniel, Nicolo P, Matt J, N Irish, Vignum, Whynot WhyThot, DJ Watterson, Colin B, Alex, Devin P, Blahblahblah, Jeddaven, Vince G, Feyascia, Joshua, Alexander, Zachariah, Chris and Tyler C! Whew! Also, please welcome back Alia Muss from their vacation overseas!
It's incredibly nice to meet all of you and I hope you've been enjoying the game thus far. I've been busting my butt on creating a game with real noticable choices that affect progression without hindering it (most of the time) and creating detailed environments with a lot of hidden sub-systems to create a unique experience each play-through, especially with the Mood System and other variables that play into it. So it makes me very happy to see so many people supporting the game's development and standing behind it. It's energy like that, that makes the game worth working on and helps to drive my passion for it. With that said, thank you very much for all of that, I owe it to you guys. My family and I are grateful beyond words.
I also wanted to let you know that you'll be receiving a Benefits Email here soon with all the codes you've earned so keep an eye out for those.
In addition to what I was saying before about the game's development, I've been trying to keep it as open to you guys as possible so you know everything I'm working on, you know what my goals and deadlines are for things, I keep you updated as frequently as I can and I absolutely encourage your feedback/criticism/suggestions/questions and anything else. So please use your voice :) I want to hear what you think of scenarios and situations in the game and if you think something can be improved upon, don't be afraid to let me know. I've been trying to keep communication between all of you and myself as open as possible. In-game if you think of anything, just type "Anonynn" (without quotations) and it'll instantly bring up my email. You can also contact me in various other ways too; blog, Patreon, Discord and Email. You can also tell me what you think when I create polls too. That's a little less frequently lately but it still happens on occasion.
Matter of fact, you can find a new poll HERE
Please vote and let me know what you think!
Anyway, I think that's about it on that respect! I hope all of you feel incredibly welcome to our growing Apoca-Ville!
In Other News I have great news! I'm back from my three day vacation (all I did was work at my Summer Job though @_@) which I always take after each update so that I can recharge my batteries. In that time though I have commissioned some title art for the game which is a grand sweeping landscape by ChinYang Lim that will have two different lighting variations. You can see the first sketch of it below...
It will have the game title and the AMS logo hidden within as well and will be a full colored, very detailed picture. https://www.artstation.com/allenlimcy I've added this to my page of Recommendations on the Blog and in the game's credits already :)
I've also just hired on a new background artist too.
You can find her work here.
She'll be working on all the backgrounds from here on out; including the Chapter Titles and all the basic areas. Again, images will NOT be shoved in the player's face. If you want to see them, you have to "look" at an area :) I'll be commissioning work from her soon.
I've also continued work on the Bad Alaraune and the Good Alaraune with transformations. Soon enough they will be done!
Anonynn.
