AMS v0.96D (Public), New Patrons, News!
🕑 Added 2018-05-19 23:46:59 +0000 UTC Hey all!Rejoice! It's Update Day! Woo-Hoo! Aside from the update itself we actually have a couple of different things to celebrate but we'll get to that after we introduce some brand new patrons to our wonderful Apoca-Ville --- where everyone is happy, or else >:| ....Kidding!....Or am I? Anyway, let's meet us some new people. Please give a very, very warm welcome to Wardragon the Warmonger, Parker the Precious, Fab-Sama the Fabulous and Schande the Sharp-Shooter. First off, let me say that I greatly appreciate your support toward the game. All of you make it possible for me to not only support my family but to help me live out two of my dreams; designing games and writing immersion works ^_^ In addition to this, during the long hours I work on the game it's all of your belief in it that helps me plug along day and after day. It helps so much in fact that I'm still extremely excited to bring all of you update after update. I still feel extremely excited to work on it! So thank you very much for that. I owe you guys so much.
I also want to encourage all of you to join the public Discord https://discord.gg/y3V4hbN which you can find if you follow that link. It's extremely chill there and it gives you a chance to talk with me 24/7 about the game, yourselves and allows me to answer any questions, concerns or critiques you might have right away. I do apologize to a couple of you as well for having to wait (I think a week) for an introduction from me but we were so close to update day that I didn't want to spam messages. Other than that, you should be receiving your personalized email messages very soon (either today or tomorrow at the latest) which will have all of your codes that you earned via donation and how to use them in the game. Thank you so much again for being so generous. ^_^ I hope I never let you down.
Now then, let's segue into some news. You all voted on a couple of polls several weeks ago, including about public updates and as I said back then, I was actually a little shocked to find that the majority of you voted for the last public release to be the last public version (for a while) but I thought that last public update was a little incomplete so I opted to make this version the last public one (again for a while). I'll explain this for those who are new or haven't heard this before.
The reason behind this is that there is enough of the game out right now to wet the public appetite I think. And since little chunks of the game get updated at a time, I think it would more substantial to delay the next public release until I can show off ALL of Chapter 1 and with all the Systems and Remasters finished. A lot of people on Discord think it's a really great idea because people will notice the big fat release and changes than if I kept doing smaller continuous updates. So instead of staggering Public and PTB releases like I have been, it will instead be continuous PTB updates so that all of you can keep testing all the new content (which also allows me to fix things as we push forward). Nothing else is changing. I will still be doing frequent news, update information for everyone and introducing new patrons like I've been doing from the beginning.
So that means AMS v0.96D (Public) is the very last Public update for a while. Once Chapter 1 is finished and all of the Systems are in and all the Remasters are done, I will return to staggered releases. The reason behind that is without working on Systems and Remasters I'll be knocking out tons of content per update since there won't be anything else to work on.
Speaking of which, that brings me to a couple of things we get to celebrate with this release. The game has now broken 1.4 million words, 1,415,717 words to be precise and 67,031 lines of code (although, if we counted all the libraries it would be closer to 75-80k). All I can say is...that is SO amazing. But it makes me want to make the game even larger! So this is definitely a small stepping stone into a much larger experience. The second thing I'd like to celebrate is that we now have an official character artist for the game and the first commission is paid for. You can view his artwork HERE. I really like this guy's attitude, his quick responses and he seems to have a unique style. He even finished a rough sketch of the Sympathy/Serious Hannah which I will show below.
and there's a Sexy/Sarcasm version coming soon as well. As soon as he finishes them, I'll put them into the game and replace them with my current Hannah picture. Pretty amazing, huh? I imagine the next PTB will have either one or both ready to go. At the end of the month, I'll be commissioning both of Rold's pictures too. And then Aaleahya after that and so on.
Um....Oh, and Rold and his Laboratory are FINALLY finished. I think the total word count for his initial conversation is about 103,743 words and 2,094 lines of code. @_@ So he's a large book more or less LOL. I haven't even added all his conversation topics yet or the Remastered the Favor dialogue where you meet up with Aaleahya. Naturally though, his conversation topics are going to come much later, as will Hannah's. He also has 7 sex scenes total, 4 of which go into extreme detail.
I think that's about it for any major announcements. So let's go ahead and get to the update!
AMS v0.96D (Public) ChangeLog
Bug Fixes
- Fixed four errors in the scripting with the Rest Command. CloneObjectAndMovehere to CloneObjectAndMoveHere. This was affecting the Quest Default Save. Thanks KV!
- Arrows on the Compass were missing from the Online Version and causing a couple lines of error to appear. These have been executed! Thanks KV! This subsequently makes the saving process more stable.
- Due to technical difficulties there will only be one Save System for the Online Version which is the SaveLoad Library. The Desktop version still has both and will continue to have both for a long while.
- Fixed this upon loading a game: Error running script: Error compiling expression 'Split("Look at;Drop;Equip;Repair;Harvest")': FunctionCallElement: Could find not function 'Split(String)' --- If you get this, it’s likely because your Quest version is out-of-date. Remember I always include the latest Quest release with the game zip file :D
- Some Clothing and Piercings were labeled as Cloth that weren’t supposed to be. All of these errors have been repaired.
- Numerous upon numerous…NUMEROUS little errors and fixes with the Crafting System have been dealt with. It should be ready to go now.
- Made it so that Sacks of Gold are not Craftable. That’s so silly! You can create your own Sacks though.
- Added the Metallurgy Kit to the Survival Inventory list.
- A Metric Crap-Ton of errors have been fixed regarding various areas of the game. They were actually found by KV when he was trying to convert the game to a browser (as a test). :D And no it’s not possible at the moment because my game has too much code for something like that.
- A couple of items and the new Crafting System were causing weird errors to happen in the SaveLoad system. It wasn’t hindering saves but the errors have been fixed.
- Fixed “I was not expecting a + “ which was caused by the in-game + signs next to the Crafting Noble Items.
- You can no longer ignore talking to Rold once you’ve agreed to speak with him and the “Introduce Yourself” choice has been prompted.
- Fixed all the weapons showing up when you try to attack Hannah and succeed. Damn brackets! The entire attack script was pretty broken. It worked still but the written part of the script that involved Weapons was a mess. This was only relevant in the attack scripts where you had already met her. I basically had to separate the scripts for the individual weapons. Not sure why but sometimes code can be temperamental. Thanks to KV for helping discover the solution 😊 Apparently weapons were getting set to null and that was making the text processor go haywire. All fixed.
- Not really a bug but I made Hostile Rold’s speaking color his actual font color instead of Hannah’s. In addition, now they will not say the same dialogue every turn, sometimes they won’t say anything. I can add more scripts for them to say at another time.
Transformations
- The Goblin Transformation, i.e the Goblin Cream item has been remastered. It is now more descriptive and interesting 😊 The main description has been remastered and changes based on what your Dominant Mood is Sexy/Sarcasm, Sympathy/Serious. With every dose of Goblin Skin Cream that you take a couple of different stat gains can happen along with the transformations, see chart below:
Both Genders: You have a 25% chance of a +1 Corruption Gain or -1 Corruption Loss with a 50% chance for either to happen. This also has a Corruption Variable which changes the script based on how high your Corruption is. You might be wondering, why both? Well, it’s because there are Goblins in the game’s world who have completely succumbed to their instincts causing them to commit horrible acts like rape and murder to get their sexual fix. But there are other Goblins and even Demi-Goblins (like Rold and Hannah) who mostly have themselves under control and can actually be very good “people” so that’s why there is both. You also have a 20% chance to gain +1 toward your Sexy Mood and a 20% chance to gain +1 toward your Sarcasm Mood. Depending on your Dominant Mood, you have a 16% chance to become Horny instantly or if you already are you’ll gain +10 Lust. You have a 14% chance to gain +1 Lust, a 12% chance to gain +1 Maximum Health while losing -2 Intelligence. Transformations: The descriptions change a little based on your Gender, but it also takes Race variables into account as well. But you have a 20% chance to Shrink 2in/.05m (but you can’t get any smaller than 3ft/0.9m), a 16% chance to gain Goblin Ears, a 14% to get a Goblin Mouth: Teeth and Tongue, a 12% Goblin Hands, an 11% chance to gain Goblin Feet and a 10% chance to change your skin color to either Yellow or Green (50% between them). In addition to the transformations, you can also gain the Stats mentioned above.
Female Specific: You have an 11% chance to gain +2 Agility while losing +2 Strength. You have a 10% chance to make yourself more Fertile too.
Male Specific: You have an 11% chance to gain +2 Strength while losing -2 Agility. You have a 10% chance to gain a bigger Penis Size too.
These will happen regardless of Resist.
*Essentially though the Goblin Transformation now affects both genders which it didn’t take into account before*
- I’ve added transformations to the Laboratory based around Rold’s warning of traveling carefully through his Lab (which some Mood responses get and others don't) I’ll list them below. This will trigger four different transformation types when moving to the Experimentation Cells or the Animal Room (the first times AFTER you meet Rold). The possible transformations are: Hair-length (Growth or Shrink: 50% each)), Hair-color (list below), Eye-color (list below) and Piercings (list below). Each of these categories will have a 33% (hairlength), 25% (haircolor), 20% (eyecolor) and if all others don’t proc (piercings) chance to transform you by accident IF you do not have any Resist. If you have Resist you should be okay. I also added an Intelligence variable too and three scenarios that can lead up to your transformation. If you have an Intelligence of 7 or greater you won't forget that Rold warned you about being careful! 😊
Hair-Color: Orange 33%, Blue 25%, Ombre 20%, Neon 16%, Pastel 14%, Pink 12%, Silver (if all others don’t proc), Rainbow 11%.
Eye-Color: Purple (if all others do not proc), Black 25%, Pink 16%, White 14%, Gold 33%.
Piercings: Earlobe 20%, Upperears 16%, Nose 14%, Tongue 12%, Eyebrow 11%, Lip 10%, Secondarymouth 9%, Navel (if all others do not proc), Nipple 33%, Genital 25%.
Mood Variations
“Stay Silent”
Warning: Take His Hand.
No-Warning: Refusing His Hand.
“Question Him”
Warning:
Sexy: Take His Hand: Female.
Sympathy: Take His Hand: Female/Male. Refuse: Female.
Sarcasm: Female
Serious: Take His Hand: Female/Male.
No-Warning:
Sexy: Refuse: Female. Male.
Sarcasm: Male.
Serious: Refuse His Hand: Female/Male.
“Flirt With Him”
Warning:
Sexy: Submissive: Female. Dominant: Female.
Sympathy: Submissive: Female. Male.
Sarcasm: Submissive: Female. Dominant: Female. Male.
Serious: Dominant: Female. Refuse Sex: Female.
No-Warning:
Sexy: Refuse Sex: Female. Male.
Sympathy: Dominant: Female. Refuse Sex: Female.
Sarcasm: Refuse Sex: Female.
Serious: Submissive: Female. Male.
- I’ve added the Goblin Transformations to the Sex Scenes with Rold. These obviously won’t occur if you have Resist. You have a 20% chance to get a Height Transformation, 16% to get an Ear Transformation, 14% for a Mouth Transformation, 12% for a Hand Transformation, 11% chance for Foot Transformation and a 10% Chance for a Skin Color Transformation (green or yellow) or if none of those proc, you can have a 50% chance of gaining +1 Corruption or losing -1 Corruption, you have a 20% chance to gain +1 Sexy Mood or +1 Sarcasm Mood, you have a 12% chance to lose -2 Intelligence and gain +1 Health, you have an 11% chance to gain +2 Agility and -2 Strength, you also have a 10% chance to increase your Fertility.
Stats
- Upon successfully Crafting you now have a 25% chance to increase your Skill in the respective area (depending on what you are making) by 25% :D
Sex
- I’ve begun the Dominant Sex Scenes for the Flirt Option with Rold’s Initial Conversation. So like the Submissive Scenes, The Dominant Scenes for Sexy/Sarcasm takes Lust, Horny, Gender, Hair and Breastsize variables into account. Like in the Submissive Scenes Lust (which affects how into it your character is) and Horny (which changes how animalistic/passionate/emotional you are and how hard you both cum). Obviously, like with the other scenes this is for Female Characters (as Rold is Straight). Rold is also able to get you pregnant for the time being as well (not-canon) but this is a temporary effect and will be removed once the Experimentation Cells are finished since there are creatures in there that can get you pregnant. Pregnancy chance with NPCs is based around Fertility, see chart below.
Very High Fertility: Maternal: 50% Not Maternal: 33%
High Fertility: Maternal: 33% Not Maternal: 25%
Low Fertility: Maternal: 25% Not Maternal: 20%
Very Low Fertility: Maternal: 20% Not Maternal: 16%
Also, if having sex with him goes against your Sexuality/Orientation there’s a 45% chance to increase your “Straightness” (I’m not sure how to word that lol).
The Sympathy Dominant Scene is finished but doesn’t end in sex because your character is simply too shy to actually take what they want. This results in Rold growing very upset and makes you lose -10 Relationship Points with him. The Sexy Scene has the player taking charge of the sex and riding Rold to orgasm and as a result, transformations and pregnancy can follow. The Serious Dominant Scene is finished, you can gain +5 Relationship Points with Rold if you dood him. This is one of the more positive outcomes. The Sarcasm Dominant Scene is finished too, you can gain +5 Relationship Points with Rold and a warning about the magic in the laboratory as well. This more or less concludes Rold (except for the Favor Option to get Aaleahya).
Patreon/Patron
- Added ‘Conflicted Sin’ to the Help Guide’s Thank You Page! :D Nice to have met and talked with you!
- Added ‘Riever’ to Help Guide’s Thank You Page! ^_^ Thanks for your support!
Other
- Fixed the message on the upstairs north doorway which is locked to Player’s at the moment. Apparently, it was only showing a period sometimes! I have tested and fixed that!
- The interface has been reshuffled around, you guys will have to let me know what you think about it and what you would like to see changed or fixed with it. ^_^
- New Item: Crafting Table for the final phase of the Crafting System. There are going to be several versions of it depending on the location that you find them in. So sometimes they might appear very solid and ready to be worked upon and sometimes you’ll find real beat-up dilapidated ones that could fall apart at any second! More variations to come too. For now the solid one has been set up in Rold’s Laboratory for Player’s to test.
- Removed the message about the Goblin Cream not being remastered or in placeholder status from the Alchemy Table in Rold’s Laboratory.
- I finished all the Male Flirt Scenarios with Rold’s Initial Conversation. If you have a Sexy Dominant Mood you’ll lose -5 Relationship Points, Sympathy Dominant will not lose any (as the Player loses their nerve and can’t go through with it), Sarcasm Dominant will lose -5 Relationship Points and Serious will lose -7 Relationship Points. These scenarios also have an Orientation variable and obviously a gender variable too. These turned out to be roughly 4k words.
- Wood is now a Craftable Element that can be used in Crafting or Harvested.
- New Item for Crafting: Metallurgy Kit for Crafting Metal Items.
- So I made a list of every single Craftable Item/Clothing/Weapon in the game. Brace yourselves cause this took 3 ½ hours straight of writing! Basically, if something needs Metal, you’ll need a Metallurgy Kit, if it needs Cloth/Leather you’ll need a Sewing Kit and if the item has Wood, Glass, Essence of Transformation, Essence of Modification, or Edible Essence you’ll need a Mixing Kit. These all use different Skills as well. Tailoring Skill for Leather and Cloth, Forging Skill for Metal and Alchemy Skill for everything else. You cannot craft Noble Items. Those must be earned or bought. 😊 This Crafting System also utilizes three completely different skills; Alchemy Skill, Tailoring Skill and Forging Skill. For all of them, these are the success rates.
Take your current Skill Level in whatever Skill you’re trying to use and than multiply that by 10 and that’s your percentage of success.
*All items are consumed upon success OR failure. I owe a gigantic thanks to KV for helping me design the look of it, showing me a more effective way of doing very large menus (since originally I was going to set it up like the character creator menu but the direction it was going, it would have been like three times the length and Quest couldn’t handle it) and he even thought of a lot of ideas that I ended finding brilliant. Thanks again KV!*
I’ve also created a character named Cayden John who is a very famous survivalist/novelist and treasure hunter whom the Player will occasionally discover remnants of throughout the work. This crafting list is a page from his book the Cayden John Memoirs! I hope you guys enjoy it!

- The Crafting System List for Crafting (the thing listed above) has been added to the Game’s Help Guide under a separate category. Because of the sheer size of this thing, instead of putting it as a script with Press to Continues, I’m going to add it as a link download. It’ll be a notepad for super quick and simple downloads. The Crafting System SHOULD be completed with this addition. Harvest and Crafting work together but are fundamentally different systems. 😊
- You can now get Metallurgy Kit’s, Sewing Kits and Mixing Kits from Rold’s Alchemy Table. You can also search the Alchemy Table for the Crafting Notes. It is an object that is divided into sections; you can view each section individually. It will also appear in the Help Guide after you find and unlock it essentially. If you skip the Withered Snag/Goblin House tutorial you will be able to find the notes elsewhere throughout the game. This will just be the earliest you can find it. You also have to meet Rold first if you haven’t yet. Otherwise, you cannot use the table or get the supplies from it.
- The Crafting Table now appears in Rold’s Laboratory upon entering but you cannot use it if you haven’t met him yet.
- I’ve added the Metallurgy Kit to all the Loot and Search Tables.
- I’ve added all the Kits and Crafting Items to the PVM. It has a new Crafting Items category. You can also spawn your own Crafting Table and Cayden John’s Crafting Notes too.
- Opening the PVM now properly clears the screen of all other text.
- I rewrote the Rolling Hills (just the middle and last sections) for all the Moods and spaced all the scripts there better so there’s less clustering of paragraphs. I also cleaned up some of the language, fixed Rold’s responses (including adding his color code which wasn’t possible before with how I had it set-up), made the text more intuitive for your height instead of based on your race and I separated the Male and Female sections because they were a bunched-up mess. Hopefully, you guys will notice quite a big change in that particular section which makes the presentation of the events clearer. I also added a warning about the Withered Snag/Tutorial Area to player’s who might not have known before that skipping is essentially dodging a lot of end-game quests and receiving a lot of items. Let me know what you guys think?
- I rewrote a couple lines here and there for every response and gender in Rold’s Laboratory. Some of the lines were a little awkward so I fixed them.
- I moved the warning about the Unfinished Content found in the Laboratory Landing to the actual Laboratory since the Laboratory is now completely finished.
NEXT PTB UPDATE: 06JUN18 (June 06, 2018)
COMING UP:
Tallification Elixir Remaster, Entice Enemies Beginning, Rold Favor Topic Remaster, Experimentation Cells Beginning Remaster, Aaleahya Remaster, Corruption System Details. I'm also hoping to fix some spacing problems with Hannah's conversation (since large amounts of dialogue appear at a time) and then do the same for the first time entrance into the Withered Snag. We'll see where we're at from there ^_^
As always, if you have any questions about anything, please lemme know!

No more questions from me but I would like to say that I have high hopes for this game
Anonynn
Yup, that's the current end of the game. I just finished remastering the entire laboratory and Rold's initial conversation. The next remaster are the Experimentation Cells and then the box exploding part will follow. After that I'll write up the last bit of Chapter 1 :) As for the Rolling Hills and going down into the Whispering Thicket that is Chapter 2 which I delayed until I finish Chapter 1. But you can test the Weather System there and the Rest Command. The first room of Chapter 2 is finished, but the surrounding 5 rooms only have descriptions atm. Once Chapter 1 is finished I'll be working on Chapter 2's random travel events and the 21 major travel events that happen in those 5 surrounding rooms. Anonynn If you have anymore questions lemme know :D

Every time I deliver the box to Rold the lab explodes, am I doing something wrong? And is there no more content after rolling down the hill because I get stuck after that
Anonynn
LOL! Sorry! I always have so much to say >.< !
