AMS v0.9.5B Update; New Patrons: H Dizzie the Herald, Etma the Erotic, Vent the Vicious, Shadow the Snake; St.Jude's Donation
🕑 Added 2018-01-13 03:15:30 +0000 UTC Hey everyone :DI'm not going to dilly-dally much with explaining the new update and all that cause it's late and I just want to relax with the family but don't worry I will still be going into some depth concerning the new release.
Before I do though, I have some patrons to introduce! Please give a warm hello and welcome to H Dizzie, Etma, Vent and Shadow. Let me be the first to say that I hope all of you enjoy your time with this community because so far they've been pretty fantastic. I know I for one have a blast on the Discord Channel with them (when people are actually active) :P which really helps to brighten my day at times, especially when I've been slogging away at the game. I hope you all have the same experience with them and become an active part of the game's development. If you're ever wondering what I'm working on or if I need opinions, Discord is the first place I go to ask because I trust the opinions of those there. ^_^ But anyway, I really encourage you newcomers to share your voice and opinions and concerns I am always open to hear them and I hope others will vouch for me in that respect. I also wanted to let you guys know that I should be sending your personalized thank you emails tonight which will have any codes you've earned and how to use them. Keep in mind, the rewards for my game are progressive which mean they build on themselves so if you pledge $1 for 3 months then you've permanently earned the $3 reward! BUT it's your responsibility to keep track of that stuff, if you are curious about how much you've earned, I will be happy to check for you and will get you the codes you've earned too :) All you gotta do is ask!
In other news, St.Jude's is getting ANOTHER donation from us; a $50.00 one! Woo! That means after tonight we'll have donated over $200.00 to them! You guys are incredible!! Remember 5% of all proceeds each month go towards a St.Jude's donation which they have been very, very thankful for. I've been showing you guys all the important documents we get from them and when we're done here I'll show you the donation sheet and any replies that we get from it. So give yourselves a big pat on the back because you have more than earned it. Thank you so much for your generosity thus far and helping so many children and their families through difficult times!
Now then! Update.

- I fixed a spacing error in the Character Creator choice selection with Dirty Blonde Hair. This was causing the game not to recognize that choice. Thanks for the catch, Frigid!
- I fixed the Shortification Elixir not disappearing after a use/consume! It’s not supposed to be an infinite item! Haha! The Player’s Height not adjusting after consuming the item as well was fixed. Thanks for the catch, Pashahlis! And thank you very much for helping me work on it K.V and for all your patience! What a pain in the ass that was. I also fixed an error where I had Resist subtraction for this item in the wrong place so it wasn’t happening when it was supposed to.
- Apparently we’ve been missing height 6’6 since like…forever. It has been added lol.
- Fixed this error, Error running script: Error compiling expression 'bb_ring_with_black_dreamcatcher': Unknown object or variable 'bb_ring_with_black_dreamcatcher'
- Fixed a small spacing error in the Player Description for Male Breastsize Description.
- Fixed a small spacing error in the Player Description, chest descriptions for Males.
- Fixed the Recall Button allowing you to use the Rest Command inside the Withered Snag.
- Fixed the Character Creator, Work Choice #5 showing the Agility Stat despite Stats being hidden. This was happening because it didn’t make it into the parenthesis ^_^;;
- Fixed several grammatical errors in the MTF Transformation Item; Estrogenol.
- Fixed an error with the SMB (Stat Manipulation Button). It wasn’t updating Stats after they were changed. I also fixed the spacing of text in that item.
- I have updated the game’s engine to Quest 5.8. This fixed numerous Save/Load Errors, leaving four/five remaining but it does NOT hinder saves anymore as far as I can tell.
- Fixed an error with receiving the Candle Girl from Rold after the conversation. You should now properly receive her. Thanks to Trrgrhhpy for finding it!
- Fixed this Error running script: Error compiling expression 'ToInt(game.month)': FunctionCallElement: Could find not function 'ToInt(Object)'
- Fixed the Test Item Cache from giving out thousands of The Piercer, the Pregnancy Dildo, the Cursed Cow Necklace (which has been removed now), The Conditioner and the Alcohol Tester.
Transformations
- I’ve adjusted the chance of the Shortification Transformations/Body Modification. It’s now 50% up from 33%. Now you’ll have a 50% chance to avoid being Transformed and a 50% chance to be transformed. I’ve also reduced the chance for the effect to be doubled, 25% down to 15%. I also reduced the chance of receiving an Agility Stat Boost, 50% down to 33%, and the second chance 33% down to 25%. Now it’ll be slightly harder to get Agility. I’ve reduced the Agility stat chances again; 33% down to 25% and for the second 25% down to 20%.
- I’ve begun adding the details of the FTM Transformation Item; Testostrocillin. It basically has the same transformation template as Estrogenol except well…in reverse! Basically Penis Size affects Estrogenol and determines when you’re ready to completely change into a Female. In Testostrocillin however, female Fertility is the determining factor. When you reach least Fertility, you are ready to become a Male. As a Male Character, there are different variation scripts for whether or not you are Bald, have Short Hair or Longer Hair, whether you have Breasts Size of 2 (C-Cups) or bigger, or if you don’t, there’s also variation scripts for if you have a Hip Size of 3 or greater, or if you don’t. You also have a chance of completely resisting a transformation entirely. For each script and variation there are three possible outcomes, just like in Estrogenol, only here, you also have a 25% chance to increase your Maximum Carry, a 20% chance to increase your Strength, a 16% chance to increase your Charm Skill, a 14% chance to increase your Penis Size no matter what your Dominant Mood is. Dominant Mood also affects whether or not you gain Lust from any of these transformations; you have a chance to gain +1, +2, or +3 Lust, if any. As for the Female side, it pretty much follows a lot of the Estrogenol structure; you can transform Hips/Butt, Chest and Hair which obviously reduces these qualities. As mentioned though you will not turn Male unless you happen to get the right script when your Fertility reaches the lowest amount possible. Let me know how it works!
- I’ve reworked the MTF Transformation Item; Estrogenol a little. Now in order to become a full functional female, you have to have a 4-inch Penis Size and get a particular Random Chance script which is like 20% I believe which will complete your transformation. I took out the very long transformation sequence as it sort of breaks the item as it can’t determine when you become a specific gender or not. Long story short, this should work a bit better. I also reworked some of the descriptions in the Estrogenol too (both male and female) and made them a bit better than they were because I felt that they were severely lacking in detail. I hope you guys like it!
Stats
- When completing a Quest, I have added Corruption and Cancel to the choices. If you choose Corruption, it’ll be reduced by -3 and if you choose Cancel you won’t gain any Stats for that Quest. I’ve also added a display of your current Stats to the reward message. If you press Random, it will NOT choose the Cancel option either.
Travel
- The Recall Button wasn’t resetting the Weather or Time of Day and now it does, so you won’t lose Health for traveling at Night while inside the Withered Snag. ^_^ !
Patreon/Patron
- Added “Pynk” to the Help Guide’s, Thank You Page! :D
Other
- I began the remaster of Rold’s starting conversation; it changes based on your Dominant Mood, Gender, and Charmskill. I also added the first string of choices; Stay Silent, Question Him, Flirt With Him, Step Away. Stay Silent leads to another choice, taking his hand, Yes or No. This will determine how many more Relationship Points you get with him for this conversation. I’ve begun work on the second choice Question Him, which also eventually evolves into a hand-shake but this particular one is Mood based. It determines whether or not you get Relationship Points with him. Although interrupting him does make you lose some because you break his concentration---at least for MOST Moods. I finished the Sympathy Mood Response for both Males and Females for the Question Him Choice.
- I switched the Random Choice in the Character Creation down to the bottom in all the Choices so that all the selections coincide with their numbers.
- I’ve added a message to NPC descriptions indicating if you’ve met that particular NPC or not. Just to help the player keep track of these things once we get out into the game’s world and start meeting a million people.
- I’ve added Attack, Chat, and Flirt reminders to Rold’s description.
- I have updated the information on the Alchemy Table in Rold’s Laboratory; it now includes Estrogenol and Testostrocillin in the Transformation Items. When making Estrogenol, you will not lose any Relationship Points with Rold. When making Testostrocillin however, he will be incredibly reluctant and you will lose -4 Relationship Points with him which is double the amount of all the others. This is because he doesn’t prefer Males and doesn’t want to help you turn into one.
- I’ve added the game’s Public Discord link to the game’s Help Guide.
- I removed the “Move Away” choice from Rold’s Initial Conversation Remaster since it really isn’t necessary at all. It doesn’t add anything to the scene.
- I’m transitioning the Explore Option with Rold over to the Initial Conversation Topic so that once you finish the conversation with him depending on the way you do so, you’ll also be able to explore the Laboratory.
- I fixed some old code in Hannah and Rold’s profile that dealt with Relationship Levels reaching Hated. Hated has been long removed from the game. I also fixed one spelling error in the Dominant Mood Sexy, Hannah Relationship Description.
- Updated the “READ ME FIRST” document with all the abbreviations used in the Character Creator! ^_^ That way you guys know what all the abbreviations mean.
- Added a Calendar to the game which tells you the Start and End Dates of all Holidays within and eventually any important dates as well. It is droppable if you don’t care to use it. It’ll also keep track of your current Month/Day in-game. EDIT: Instead of having the Calendar as an object you carry around, I decided to add it as a Command, that way it won’t take up inventory space. The Command to access it has been added to the Help Guide’s Basic Command. You can access by typing: Calendar, Cal, Planner, Date, or Agenda.
- I’ve added Estrogenol and Testostrocillin to all of the game’s Loot Tables and Searches.
- The Attack Hannah scenes are now rewritten from the bottom up and include variables of having Met Her or Not, Relationship variable and Corruption variables. Hannah is now killable as well under certain scenarios (as in she doesn’t fight back) but the scenes are very graphic and violent but do NOT glorify death in the least. Every weapon has its own death description as well, including Bare-Handed attacks. Hannah and Rold now have Dead Booleans as well which will display in their descriptions and in the Player Stat Screen. If you have over 50 Corruption and you kill her, you gain +10 Corruption, if you have under 40 Corruption you gain +20 Corruption. I’ll see what you guys think of that, so they can be adjusted later. Rold is happening next! Hostile Hannah’s health was increased from 552 to 1000; this is for both the Noble and Regular versions of her. Killing Hostile Hannah also yields 3 Enemy Loot Tables and one Clothing Loot Table. Obviously making Hannah Hostile also turns Rold Hostile. Rold is not killable and will mess your day up if you mess with him. He’s probably the most powerful character in the entire game and one of the most powerful in the World of the Game/Novel.
- Hostile Rold has 10000 Health and hits you for about 2000 per attack. If you do somehow manage to kill him through you have 3 Enemy Loot Tables waiting for you and a Clothing Loot Table as well. If you kill Hannah, Rold will chase you all the way to the Winding Woods before giving up.
- I have changed and updated the scripting when you try to leave the Withered Snag. It also takes into account whether or not Hannah is dead and Rold is coming after you.
- The Withered Snag, Kitchen Search is finally complete and takes into account the Player’s Thiefskill. If you have a Thiefskill of 5 or better you can get 1 Loot Table and 2 Other Double Searches. If you don’t, you simply cannot steal from the Kitchen/Open Doorway. It also takes into account whether or not she’s Dead.
- I’ve added placeholders for several new holidays and what they will entail:
Valentine’s Day = Lover’s Gala which takes place between February 1-20.
During Lover’s Gala- Couples come together: one cooks dinner/one cooks dessert - something with white and dark chocolate. For the game, this means there may be a cooking event or something like that which you can win a kiss/sex or some kind of prize! We’ll see!
Easter = Feast of Fertility which takes place between April 1-15.
During Feast of Fertility- Chase a rabbit with jackalope horns through an open field or a forest, typically from village to village. First person to catch the rabbit is said to gain extra fertility for mating. Villagers can choose to participate naked and it's encouraged. Aphrodiacs the only foods allowed on this day. So during this you might find a random rabbit to chase and going naked will give extra stats.
XMAS = Winter Repast which takes place between December 15-30.
During Winter’s Repast- A large feast that takes place around a very, very large campfire at night to celebrate the winter solitice. You can have a big huge meal out in the middle of nowhere and participate in the bonfire jumping!
Of course, there’s Hallow’s Shroud as well which you guys already know about. Keep in mind only Hallow’s Shroud is implemented for the time being but these holidays are at least officially IN the game, just nothing programmed for them yet.
- I’ve added Lover’s Gala, Winter Repast, and Feast of Fertility Image Titles to the game’s Title Page (where Hallow’s Shroud normally appears).
- I’ve continued work with Rold, specifically his Idle Flirt Option which will have a 10% chance for Female players to be propositioned for sex or other fun activities. Female character hold higher positions for Rold than Male ones as I’ve explained, so everything for the Female’s gives more Relationship Points and hurts less for lost Relationship Points. This means it’ll be harder for Male character’s to up their Relationship with Rold through this particular option. In the future there will be characters that the player can interact with (like Aaleahya) for example who is interested in both Males and Females and some where they prefer a specific Gender.
- I’ve improved the general Laboratory Search. You have a 20% chance to get a Regular Loot Table, a Double Loot Table and a 70% chance to get both a Clothing Loot Table and a Jewelry Table. You also have a 25% chance to get a Regular Loot Table and a 70% chance to get both the Clothing Loot Table and the Jewelry Table. You also have a 33% chance to get a Regular Loot Table and a 70% chance to get a Clothing Loot Table. Or you have a 50% chance to get a Regular Loot Table and a Double Loot Table. Otherwise you find nothing.
- Added the Lab Desk to the Laboratory. You can search it for extra loot but at the cost of Corruption (you get a choice whether or not to actually steal)! It’s the same as the general Laboratory Loot Table which is a 20% chance to get a Regular Loot Table, a Double Loot Table and a 70% chance to get both a Clothing Loot Table and a Jewelry Table. This loot has a Corruption variable which affects how much Corruption you actually get; +1 if you have over 50 and +2 if you have under 50. You also have a choice to come back to loot the desk later if you want and it has two different scenarios (albeit not all that different from one another).
- Added a Quest Completion fancy-pants image to the Quest Stat Function. Music for it is on the way as well! :D It will be a short trigger with a looping track which will play while you decide what stat to increase. Hope you guys like it!
- I’m currently working on the Rold Attack scripts which probably won’t be all that different from one another. It has a variable about whether or not you have Met him and it takes Corruption variables into account. It also takes into account whether or not you’ve attacked, or killed Hannah as well. Like Hannah’s scripting, it will change the descriptions based on whether or not you’re carrying a weapon or going bare-handed. I do NOT recommend the player attacking Rold though but if you insist, the script is nearly finished. Attacking Rold while you know him also leads to a new scenario where you are thrown into a Cell until the events of the black out occur. This path is currently incomplete. But it will continue on as if you were standing next to Rold when the explosion happens that causes the blackout for now. Afterward, you will be prompted if you would like to see the rest of the content. The only scripts I didn’t complete are the written descriptions of attacking Rold while you don’t know him, this will prompt him and Hannah if she is alive to attack and follow you.
COMING UP:
Sex update. I'm hoping to add some flirt scenarios to the Flirt Command with Rold which if they go well I might do the same thing to Hannah's in the future. I'm also hopefully going to add Rold's main conversation Flirt Choice which will wind up being a sex scene depending on some factors, and I want to add another tier of Masturbation Scenes, and the main focus for the next Patron Test Beta is getting the final Pregnancy/Birth scene written so that'll be finished. So those are the main focuses for the Patron Test Beta and the next Public Release. We'll see what else crops up!
Also, there is a new Quest version 5.8beta that has been released which on my end fixes 95% of all the errors with the Save/Load Library. From what I've tested these errors DO NOT prevent you from saving or loading anymore in either an already opened instance or a new instance. Let me know! :D
New Word Count: 1,225,696
New Lines of Code Count: 55,774
I think that's about it for the time being. If you guys have any questions about anything lemme know in the Public Discord, or by messages or emails. :D
