Two New Patrons; Logon the Logistics Legend, Benjamin the Brute + News + Announcement!
🕑 Added 2017-10-09 06:45:55 +0000 UTC Hey everyone!I just wanted to quickly introduce two new patrons who have moved into crazy town (all on their own without any coercion. I know. Rare)! Anyway, please say hello to Logon and Benjamin! We're very excited to have you two as part of the Apoca-Community. Also, I'm very thankful to have another pair of eyes on the game to help me catch bugs and/or add to the cesspool of ideas floating around out there. The input I have after all the better the game will be for all of you ^_^ With that said, if either of you have any questions about anything at all, please let me know as soon as it's convenient to you. I'm pretty good at getting back to people within same day or at the most two days max but I have to be really busy fighting off demons from hell or on a much needed vacation (which will probably never happen lol. Hey there is nothing wrong with being realistic!) As for your personalized thank you emails, I should be sending those out really soon. I just have to type them up first. They will have all your codes and whatnot so keep an eye out for them. It's up to you whether you want to respond to them either. It's nice when I get a response but it's definitely not mandatory.
Onto other news! First off, I've completely fixed the Rest Command (the last remaining error), so it's completely ready to go and to be used. Woo hoo! Let me know if you guys find any wonkiness in the scripts or anything though. I checked them all as thoroughly as I could but hey, I'm human and may have missed something along the way.
I'm also almost finished remastering all of the Hallow's Shroud bosses (I have 2 1/2 left). I've already remastered their general descriptions, their hard codes, I've added death scenes to them, dialogue which should randomly pop up now and then while you fight them and I've added bigger loot tables including keeping the original stuff that they already drop. The Noble versions have even more loot. So I hope you guys enjoy the changes with them once the game is released on the 13th. I haven't tested any of this yet, but I'm waiting until I finish all of them ^_^; Oh! I almost forgot --- there's also a new boss in the Shroud, the skinwalker. Her name is DeeDee Naaldlooshie (dee-dee-nah-dol-she) which is a play on the Navajo word Yee Naaldlooshii (ye-nah-doe-she-lie) which is the actual proper term for skinwalkers. So I hope you enjoy fighting her!
I've been fixing a couple of bugs here and there too --- like ones that had to do with the Relationship System which I hadn't caught before because I never had extra topics for Hannah. Like I said though, now she has some repeatable Chat and Flirt options but don't expect too much from them. These particular topics are for after you run out of real conversation topics with her. As I said though, I'm going to try to add at least one or two conversation topics to her per release from here on out. Although it really depends on how busy I get with other more important aspects of the game.
Speaking of which, the guy who created the Save/Load library had been MIA for about two weeks and finally contacted me today mentioning that he was extra busy and he apologized for the long absence. So hopefully, we'll still have the Save/Load System ready to go by the update. Either way, I'll keep you guys updated on the progress of it. As for the Character Creation, that will probably have to wait until the next Patreon Beta---but again, I don't know how busy I will be. It's definitely on my immediate to-do list. The problem is it's going to take a large chunk of time. I'm estimating one full week or possibly two to work out errors that happen because of it. This is because Specialities are getting a major overhaul and I'm introducing a lot of brand new systems into the mix which currently can't be used in the current creator. They are hard-coded but the old creator has no place for them. So ...yeah big change once that happens and way more customization.
Announcement! Instead of having my extra Stream on Saturday, I'm going to move it to Sunday. Sorry about the changes with that recently, but this should be the last one. I wanted to switch the double stream to Sunday because my family pointed out that they might want to do stuff on Saturday night and can't when I have a stream right in the middle of the day. So I hope you guys aren't too mad about this. Here are the times just incase you're confused.
Sat: NOON
Sun: NOON + 6pm Pacific Time
This should be the last time I change it for a while.
I think that's all for the time being! I have to write the emails and get to bed :) Have a good night everyone!
