For Artifact I'm still working heavily on writing and improving existing features. I've been working with a few different people for writing, many have been talented, but none have quite worked out so far. So much has been written and scrapped, it's tough trying to find the right fit. Beyond the writing, though, I've got some new in-game events and quality of life improvements coming up.
The art has taken a bit of a hit recently. There's one artist for each game at the moment, and both are experiencing crises, like the monsoon. I'm crossing my fingers that things improve for them and they're safe.
The art was supposed to be the bulk of new material for this next update, so I've been holding off the release until more new content can make it in. Depending on how things go over the next week, I may end up going ahead and releasing a smaller update for Artifact.
As for SotS, my goal is to have a few of the characters' artwork finished before I release the first development build. Hopefully with some finished background art and original music to start off with as well, so much cleaner releases than Artifact was in its infancy. The artwork is the biggest hurdle right now, as we're still feeling out just how extensive the artwork required will be, as well as how long it will take to finish each character once the workflow is established.
