Keep Calm and think of Big Things
🕑 Added 2024-11-18 23:33:37 +0000 UTCTrying to steer my content to align with what I want is like trying to turn the Titanic around. Friday's content drop has already lost me $250 in backers, which, as you can imagine, is unbelievably terrifying for my sole income to go through.
However, I am accepting it as a transitional period, as engagement across all of my social media platforms has greatly increased. Blondeo is not going anywhere, I am bloody tired of backing down where male characters are concerned.
The irony is that more Blondeo means more characters like ST because through my eyes they're a very simular thing - just being said in different ways. But if I close the door for one, then the other loses power too, and I'm through letting that happen.
Kasey/ST will be joining the muscle and magic tier very soon, I'm just figuring out a way of getting her on the new Patreon banner without breaking terms of service!
But likely for the moment, it's good for my mental health to avoid looking at Patreon until Friday's content drop, because everytime I look at it there's a new unpledger and it's getting me down. I know that a bit of persevere and patience will see me through, all I have to do is stay the course, but I'm pushing through a very delicate part of me to do this, so I have to do what I can to protect myself as I do it.
All the best, folks. Big respect to the guys who've stuck around, especially those who have either encouraged the Blondeo project, or, at the very least, not been fussed by it, because I never said you had to like it! It's not like the other content is stopping, because I love making that too! :)
