The Fall of Everest

Two long seasons since they stormed the castle and challenge lord Prince Everest, two seasons since he rose to the challenge of the war lord and met him in combat. The Prince fought valiantly but in the end he was no match for the assailing general, and as is the custom of our land, to the victor goes the spoils, not only the castle and the throne, but also the Prince himself, now belonged to the general. His first order as our new ruler was that the Prince be stripped of all, his name, his title, his weapons, for a time he was allowed what was left of his armor after the fight, but even eventually he would have lost those as well. He was put in irons and chains, and then rather then hauled off the General had declared the throne room would be his prison rather than a dank dungeon, he was chained to the throne he was sat upon, both as an ever present reminder of what he lost, but more importantly to ever be at the ready to service his new king as their personal pet, a fine prize if ever there was one.
