[Script] Episode Unknown - I need your feedback on this one

To put it simply, out of frustration, I wrote a cynical video that points out flaws in many online film reviews. It is very different from what we usually do, but it's a topic that I find somewhat useful and important to talk about.
The problem is, the script puts me in a position of authority, making me a gatekeeper. I genuinely hate that, and really want to avoid discouraging others. I can be sarcastic, but I don't want to be hurtful.
So, if you have some time to read the script in the attachment, please let me know your thoughts:
How do you feel about the argument I made in this video script? Please poke as many holes as you can.
Imagine if you were another reviewer, how would you feel about this script?
One final thing to keep in mind is that you must not treat me as an expert or an authority of any kind. If at any point the video rings that kind of tone, please let me know. My plan for the second draft is to replace some of the examples with reviews from well-known, well-established, and well-respected film critics.
In any case, thank you for taking the time to help the channel. Even if the script doesn't become a video, I hope it is still a fun and useful read.

Short version: The script great! A few additional points: I'd consider easing up on the swearing if you want to avoid sounding like you're attacking anyway. It might be worth considering that a lot of the YouTubers who focus on angry opinions, social trends, and the same franchises over and over, do so because the algorithm rewards that type of review. Superman isn't "unrealistic" as a character because his powers and abilities all make sense within the context of the world the film creates. A better example might be John McClane who is presented as a working class cop but somehow can also defeat international terrorists again and again.

Thank you for the critique! I have since replaced my own reading of The Birth of a Nation with a review from Roger Ebert, so I can show what a proper full length review includes, which does include explanation on themes and social perceptions. I do wish I can include opinions from an African American critic, but the only accessible review (not full on essay) is from Armond White and I don't wanna bring up Armond White.

I really like the script, I think it's well presented and argued. I didn't really get a feeling of gatekeeping from it, but more a push for reviewers/critics to do better. That said, there are a couple points that I wasn't sure about. The example where you're talking about social commentary was really good. But on the other hand, shouldn't a critic also talk about themes or undercurrents in the film that might go unnoticed by more casual viewers? I've watched a lot of Hollywood films, for instance, that I felt had extremely nationalistic messages. However when talking about the film with people afterwards, many never even noticed those messages, I'm guessing because they're just so normalized both in movies and in the rest of popular culture. For me at least, I'd really appreciate a critic being able to pull out other more social commentary themes that maybe I've never noticed. Your other point about a critic not branching out I agree with, but maybe that's more of a preference for being introduced to new movies? I could also imagine that a critic might want to use references that most of their audience would know and understand. Kinda boring, but maybe not always just nostalgia? Overall really liked it though, and I appreciated the peak into your process!
