I actually have sympathy for her obsessive haters because they’re in legitimate distress but aren’t capable of finding a way out for reasons of ego, identity, and class. In some ways they’re right, unrelenting honesty is something that can be used cruelly. People will forgive you for believing lies about them, but they’ll never forgive you for loudly acknowledge a truth that they’ve been hiding from themselves and/or others. Trump (PBUH) had the same effect on these types for the same reason.

I think the topic of friendships you guys touched on is interesting. If anyone’s on a budget (like me), tinting eyelashes at home is a damn game changer. Dab some aquaphor around eyes (under & lid). You can even purchase some under-eye cotton pads, but I don’t bother. I use “refectocil color kit” in blue black (which is the deepest black). Do one eye at a time, rinse off with a little water and olive oil 🤷‍♀️ Typically leave the dye on for 5-7 minutes, there’s a tiny sting but it’s not terrible.

Love the podcast, but can’t with the millennial analysis of a gen x movie. Crispin Glover’s biggest role was not Rivers Edge (although maybe his edgiest, no pun intended), it was Back to the Future for gods sake and Johnny Depp was already a huge star when What’s Eating Gilbert Grape came out, but he chose to do a ton of independent movies in the 90s. If you’re going to state so called facts about that era, at least do some research. Don’t even get me started on Gary Oldman. To those of us that are older, you sound like you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about sometimes 😁 On that note, I will agree with Anna’s take on black TV in the late 80s/early 90s, although she forgot the quintessential Cosby Show, Family Matters, A Different World, Hanging with Mr. Cooper and even In Living Color and Arsenio. Please don’t make me do another gen x bitch sesh. Love the pod 😘
