We are getting into it. The meat of the game. The top of the tree. I have talked about the choices and branches in the feature focus series. In this I want to go over the outcome of those choices in more detail.
In the current block of releases there are 3 main missions. You only get to pick one at a time and the order in which you pick the missions are important in a sense. There are 6 different combinations of how you can pick those missions. Each mission will have 3 different outcomes depending if you picked it first, second or last leading to 9 different mission endings in all.
So how are those endings? There is a positive outcome, a neutral outcome and a negative outcome. That is you can't avoid getting a negative outcome in the last mission you picked. Shit happens. I won' spoil what that is here.
So what is the good stuff? The neutral and the good outcome share one item while the positive outcome adds bonus items.
Since you won't know what you are getting when you pick the mission this is more of a replay incentive and is designed as such. For single play gamers this is part of their story and hopefully helps build an interesting tale.
