Hazel Sprite Redesign - First Look

Not too long ago, I asked for everyone's feedback on the game to make Hazelnut Latte the best game.
A big note I took from that discussion and other people who messaged me over the year was that Hazel's sprite wasn't the best, especially compared to everyone else.
Which makes sense! It was our first sprite, so naturally, as Kokman made more sprites, he got better and developed a really good style for them.
So we're redoing his sprites!
Hazel is a bit leaner now to reflect that he is a runner, and his head isn't so big anymore. His expressions are more consistent since the last time people noted that it looked like his face shifted around.
I'm already really happy with it and can't wait to get his outfits.

To be fair, my game is still in Early Access/Beta. And this would be the 4th redesign of Hazel xD

As much as I love the old design and as much as I want it to stay, I feel like this fits him alot more. He is a femboy after all, it only make sense for him to have a somewhat masculine face. I think this is a great choice and I actually like it alot. <3

I actually really liked the old Hazel design, unrefined or not, but the new one looks great as well. I think I have a personal preference for the...rounder and more exaggerated? head and facial features, and the fluffier hair of the older version.
