6/25/24 - Progress Report

So today, I decided to plan out the next episode of Hazelnut Latte and planned a couple.
I've figured out what I want to happen in Episodes 7 through 9, and I've also figured out half of Episode 10.
For a long time, I've been just trying to get to the events of episode 5/6, but I haven't given the future a super deep thinking session. But now I have!
There are lots of fun events, lewd scenes, and interesting characters galore for the future of Hazelnut Latte, with some crazy plot moments.
It's hard to show off what I did since spoilers, but we have a clear vision of what to strive for going forward. The end of Ep 10 is a big shift in the status quo of the game's world, so I'm excited to get there and then explore the consequences.
But it's more character moments, boys, and one side boy to enjoy. Not to mention locations!
It will be wild, but I want to thank you all for supporting me and this game's development.
I apologize for how long things take to release. As the game expands, development time also increases.

So we're gonna have 7 main love interests max. Anyone else is a side piece that is just there for fun. I plan on each love interest having something going on every episode. If they don't have a big scene, there is probably a plot reason why we can't get to that person.

I don't know how you do it, I'm struggling to even get pass a single part of a chapter for my stuff. Definitely excited for what's to come in Jade city, I can't fucking wait! Much love!<3

Hey, one thing I've noticed about VNs that start adding a lot of love interests is that each LI ends up getting less screen time. Then it can take a year or more for the relationship with a given LI to hit certain milestones. Or multiple LIs are left out of an update altogether. I've seen it happen many times. Devs seem to be under the impression that it keeps the game "fresh," and maybe it does for them, but it can be a bit frustrating for the players to see everything slow down. Do what you think is best for the story that you want to tell, of course. Just be aware that additions can lead to subtraction :)
