August's Start of the Month Update!
🕑 Added 2018-08-02 13:27:59 +0000 UTC Seems we had quite a busy month last month!Tons of drawings got made and lots of fun happened! Truly happy about how things went last month and I can't help but share this happiness with you all on start of this update!
This post may be short again today, having a few quick topics like the new Monthly Theme, commissions news and a quick mention for a change in payment options related to the Charge Upfront feature which got available for every content creators.
First topic of the day, as always, will be the announcement of the new Monthly Theme and the start of the new Monthly Poll!
As announced on the Lazycouch server and after a quite surprising tie, the new theme which got chosen after a small overtime poll is the Gaming Macros and Micros Using Controllers of Same Size one!
Seems the bigger ones might be bringing their smaller sized friends this month, hopefully they all play fair with each other!
As announced on the server earlier and also here, the new poll got started right now and 5 themes will be featured for you all to vote! Be sure to check how many votes you got for the poll and use them wisely! Polls are up until August 31st 11:59 PM EST!
2nd topic of this updates post is a quick alert for everyone about commissions going quite well and that a single commission is now left to finish before reopening! Planning starting said commission during weekend, to then be able to start reopening slots at a point either next week or 2 weeks later depending how things go! Be sure to stay alert!
Final topic of this update will be one for mentioning some quick news about Patreon releasing the Charge Upfront feature for every content creators now. I felt it was a change I definitely am grateful that it came around once and for all among options content creators can choose for helping having a bit more security on their pages. With situations like bots joining with fake bank accounts and patrons coming for a few days before leaving right before payment, I felt this could definitely be great to have to prevent some (if not all) of these situations from happening, which also could keep safe limited deals slots for anyone who truly wants them without risk of a bot stealing that slot and blocking it until they leave. In the long run, I feel this option may be for the best for this page and will make things much easier for everyone. I also want to warn that, considering it will be the first time this option will be activated, I don't know yet if current patrons will be charged twice (ones charged for July and also this month). I will be activating this feature as soon as all patrons are processed for July, so this may give time for new and old patrons to check their things before all is done. Better mentioning it for everyone before this (quite big) change happens. After all this, all should be back to normal and payments will be processed for each months at their respective start without confusing anyone.
