"Sometimes, when I'm thinking of *using* it, I feel that..." "I can't help but smile." There's two speech bubbles that are empty, not sure if they're supposed to be or not. "I feel like I'm going to hear my alarm going off at any moment" "That's all I ask, it's all I want" For the very last part of the last line, the way it is sounds amazing! It shows a lot of the trust and confidence that Ansel has in Evan. Ansel definitely has had a lot of growth! The only potential problem I think here... As someone who also has struggled with self worth and confidence in myself, and still does sometimes, it can take a long time to build up enough confidence to even just say that and mean it, and whether we mean to or not, our insecurities still tend to show in our speech as we work to change our mindset. In moments where I can feel my confidence grow, I still find myself saying maybe. Maybe I can love myself, too. So, even if Ansel thinks or whispers, "Then maybe I can too," it still shows how far he's come, but also shows how far he still has to go. .......and I could just be overthinking your story. All of these things, you don't have to change or use. Just some suggestions. 😊
