our anniversary is the 8th? That's wild! Me and my husband's first date anniversary is also the 8th of August! Back in 2006 we went on our first date to the movies after he accidentally butt dialed me (we’d been friends since 2005). However, the only thing playing that was even remotely of interest was A Scanner Darkly. If you’ve never seen it, it’s a rotoscoped movie staring Keanu Reeves about drugs, paranoia, and consistency. So yeah…not a date movie. However, we did get married 6 years later so… I guess the moral of the story is if you go on a first date to a weird ass movie and the other person sticks around for a second date they’ll probably be by your side for just about anything.
