WIP Update: Lab room with Dva

Here I am with a small but juicy update on the Dva sequence I am working on.

I am having quite fun experimenting all sort of stuff on the unfortunate Dva, and i'm starting to like the results even though very very time consuming.
I ended up going with 3 different styles using the same scene:
1 - BlueBerry
2 - Normal Skin
3 - Suit Inflation
The latter, because the mesh ended up not attching very smoothly on hands and head, so I thought it gave more of a suit sense rather than her actual body.
As you can see the suit does not match the original, I had fun playing with shader nodes and ended up with this:
Really seems like a fun inflatable toy suit when defleated, isn't it? :D
Anyway, let me know which one is your favourite!
In the meantime I'll be trying to add audio to this once I'm satisfied with the result.

Yeah isn't it? I didn't intend to do that originally, but it fits. When deflated a bit really looks like a big suit

All look great, but I feel the first two have more potential, the models and animation have "matured" so well, for a lack of better words

This is looking really good! Also, just wanted to say, really like how you do the faces, Dva's face here looks so good plumped up!

Really happy you like them! I'm working in a more relaxed way, taking my time to have fun while doing it. This one will be still a rather simple animation, but there's a lot of background experimenting to make it good looking :) About the lore didn't think of it... interesting... Sombra trapped her in a lab?

Honestly all forms look phenomenal! I would even still call the suit one a body inflation instead of just suit because you could say the suit is extremely tight on her. Main thing is good to hear from you and hope things are improving! Also the figure and shape just 🤌! All in all can’t wait to see what you got in store. Also why I get the feeling sombra would cause this to dva XD.
