🕑 Added 2018-02-15 00:48:10 +0000 UTC I still don't know if anyone follows me here but not on dA. I might be missing possible conversations or ideas by ignoring this site.And right now I am looking for ideas. Or at least details. Yesterday I posted a journal - https://adipose-rex.deviantart.com/journal/Questions-about-Ancient-Egypt-and-Rome-730731653 - going into a couple of ideas I have for stories in the not too distant future. Both involve off-world colonies modeling themselves after ancient cultures, with the Egyptian one prizing fertility and exaggerated curves and the Roman one valuing obesity.
But I know nothing of ancient cultures, so if anyone has any details or potentially interesting tidbits, feel free to let me know.

The description, maybe. But others have mentioned her and my decision is that because this takes place in the future the people won’t actually worship the old gods. But they might mention them.

Tawaret is the goddess of fertility(pregnancy), childbirth, and female sexuality. Two of the other names she was known by where Ipet and Reret. Which mean harem and sow respectively. Found through some google searches. She is usually depicted with having the body of a pregnant hippo, the back of a crocodile, and the legs of a lion, with human breasts. That depiction of being a big as pregnant hippo could be something to play around with.
