Nightmare Kart dev update 2024/5/7
🕑 Added 2024-05-08 00:16:15 +0000 UTCWorked on UI a little bit for today's Nightmare Kart dev post!
Part 1: the little 'notification queue' above the speedometer that displays battle information now shows the correct rebranded names. A small detail, but it had to be done sooner or later!
Part 2: the graphics setting have been broken for a little while now and the game was locked at 1:3 resolution, giving it that retro pixelated look. This is fixed, & the default is set to 1:1. I felt that this was better now that its an official indie game.
Part 3: Made a new loading screen as the old one was directly ripped from armored core 1 I originally wanted to use a cute anim of a kart scootin around but it didn't fit the rest of the games gritty vibe & I wanted to reinforce the sword symbol found in the logo as it pops up elsewhere.
