Mercedes-Benz (C126) 560 SEC KOENIG - 1988
🕑 Added 2024-01-06 02:36:45 +0000 UTCRealSpecs v1.0
---- ---- ---- ----
The Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC was a stunning car to begin with, but Koenig Specials took it to the next level. Their modified version of the 560 SEC was a widebody beast with a bold and aggressive look, and a supercharged engine that produced over 400 horsepower. It was the perfect car for the excess of the late 1980s, and it remains a highly sought-after classic today.
"The Koenig Specials 560 SEC is a wild and crazy car. It's fast, it's loud, and it's definitely not for everyone. But for those who are looking for a unique and exhilarating driving experience, the Koenig 560 SEC is the perfect choice."
Car and Driver, February 1988, titled "The Supercar from Germany”
---- ---- ---- ----
Starting from the 560 SEC AMG version, I tried to recreate the Koenig Specials model of the Mercedes 560 SEC as faithfully as possible.
There are many variants of this model, particularly with regard to engine tuning, which here features the most powerful of all versions, the twin turbo.
For this model I found very little information available online, anyway I think we know enough to create this Assetto Corsa mod, which shouldn't be too far from reality!
Perhaps the biggest difference is in the gearbox, which, being automatic, is not perfectly represented here.

Okay thanks! But can you please reupload the download link for the old version?
Alberto
I can't do it right now, but when I can, I'll try to do it!

Can you please upload a version with the front of the previous model of this mod (https://www.patreon.com/posts/mercedes-benz-93711517) ?

Awesome ! Your mods are great
Alberto
I have given priority to expand the work to new models, rather than offering more versions of the same base model, even though from time to time I make some exceptions... in any case, making the sedan version is not in my plans at the moment, but I'll take note and who knows, maybe in the future! About the colors, yes, that's something I'll definitely try to add in the near future. Thanks for sharing your opinion!

Will you ever make different colorways for this model ? Also , have you ever considered making the 4 door version aswell ?

your cars are really pleasant to drive and very beautifull (especially the AMG 560sec), thanks you very much ; in the same 90's loves, Ferrari 348 tb and Porsche type 964 carrera C2/C4/RS are bad handlings and not funnies (and there is no Ferrari Mondial 3.2L at all), can you do something for them plz ? (also it missed a good BMW M635csi to complete the grid)
