I just wanted to send a little update with me to let you know how I was feeling and what's up!
Now obviously I haven't managed to catch up just yet so I went ahead and paused billing for another month. With that said I look forward to producing more fun and sexy comics for you.
To that end I wanted to let you know that I am feeling much better, mentally and physically. I'll let you know what was bothering me so much...It isn't anything personal that's wrong with me. It's mainly just the world in general. Maybe I'm naive but the way the world is currently is very far from where I thought we were going...
I generally thought we were "too smart" as a species to do things like what is going on. I really had thoughts as a kid like "how could we ever start new wars anymore we're too smart!"
I thought that the internet was bringing us together and letting us know that we're all human. I thought I saw us taking very real steps forward in being accepting and peaceful. Instead I'm seeing things pretty much going backwards. Gay marriage and acceptance was something I thought we had moved passed but it's being relitigated, bodily autonomy being re-litigated. Steps forward I saw us taking when I was a pre-teen are being stepped back. Genocide is still happening. People are hungrily and eagerly accepting bad faith ideas and self harming ideologies. At least in my eyes. It's all very sad to see and it hurt me like, spiritually and made me not really want to try or engage with society on any level. I didn't even feel much like leaving my bed.
I guess I let the badness of the world get to me. Anyway I'm sorry that I haven't been around. I want to come back bigger and better than ever.
In the meantime you should really play Donuts for Deer Teeth if you haven't! It's a hyperfur weight gain themed game, styled slightly like Hotline Miami.
