Sorry guys, First Second requested the next batch of pages for Book 2 of the omnibus, so we spent most of September scrambling to get them done by... yesterday, actually.
They're done, they're turned in, what can I even say - how much I love them? How proud I am of the work we've been doing, how excited I am for this stuff to become available publicly soon?
How this comic we've been working on for more than a decade is coming together into its best possible form in a way I never expected, but I am so thoroughly grateful for?
Because yes, all of the above.
One of the scenes were were just working on comes from Milo and Liam moving into their first apartment together, and it was really surreal to be chipping away at these reformats while also chipping away at a page of LIFT. Baby Sylvia alongside adult Sylvia really made us feel a way.

I have so much fondness for this girl.
So here's the next page of LIFT, and hopefully we'll get another update for you up here on Patreon by the weekend - especially now that Book 2 is turned in, and Book 3 isn't due until mid-January. A little breathing room and some room to create ♥
I'll also be posting an omnibus blog entry to the $5+ tiers shortly with a look at some of the panels Suzana touched up facial expressions and art on for Book 2!

The last panel reminds me of President Muffley telling Premier Kissoff "We are both sorry" to settle an argument about which of them is sorrier about a rogue US general sending aircraft with nuclear bombs to attack the Soviet Union, in Dr. Strangelove! P.S. Wow, Milo looked so different back then! I wouldn't have recognized him if I'd seen that old page out of context.
