[LIFT Update] Chapter 1, Page 18
🕑 Added 2024-06-21 12:23:33 +0000 UTCThere are so many new scenes in this chapter (of course), which includes sooo many maps. Previously it was designing the main street of town, which we saw earlier in the chapter— and now, these last few pages have prompted mapping out their new house.
I thought it might be fun to share the floor plans for said house here:
Figuring this stuff out makes things waaay more consistent as we go along, and helps save time in the long run. It's like a time investment!

The second labeled closet in her room was meant to be erased, I took out the lines on the wall itself but forgot to delete the word on the image itself; the left half of the closet is actually just an indentation, pretty common in houses here, with a built on closet just next to the door (the lines are solid on that mass). I’ll edit and remove that for confusion, it was just a left over remnant of my sketching phase.

Thank you for the floor plans! I've been wondering about people popping their heads in from one room to another, and what connects to what. But, actually, I'm a little confused. Sylvia's room is the one in the top left corner of the second floor plan, right? Because it has a wide but shallow built-in closet, but isn't the master bedroom. But (on the page) that closet is immediately to the left of the door as you enter, with its wall continuing beyond it. So I think the floor plan has the two closets like that backward; hers is on the right as we look at the floor plan from above, and the one on the left has to open into the master bedroom.
