ASSETTO CORSA F1 Reality Reshade 68.0
🕑 Added 2024-12-10 15:25:53 +0000 UTCHello community time for the biggest update yet. this time I had to intervene myself on the developement of a ppfilter script to achieve the maximum realism possible, Reshade developement is in stall for this game as I don't think I can take more out of it, so to reach the next level I had do dig in into the possibilities offered by the latest Pure advancement and CSP endless possibilities. My ppfilter script offers a variety of additions meant to fit more my vision of real life racing and broadcasting, as usual this has achieved taking in compare real life references in order to get as close as possible given also the limitations of an old engine such Assetto Corsa has. One of the references I took in considerations have been made on the track mod ACU mexico with Pyyer extension, reason why this track offers texture coloring very close to its real life counterpart. what my ppfilter script offer:
image color temperature changes based on day cycle (including night) and weather cycle (at the moment only overcast and rain)
dynamic color gamma based on day and weather cycle as per color temperature
dynamic reflection calculation based on sun or cloud shadows presence
dynamic calculation of sun specular and saturation based on time of day and sun cycle to achieve finally an effect similar to this
this effect has not been exaggerated like real life one because creates some conflicts in certain tracks or certain car mods as it is also depending on the specific ext config and car materials settings for those specific car/track mods and I don't want to dig into that but leave it at default for ease of use for everyone, but now this effect is finally achievable
here you can see some limitations with the engine where a specific sun angle can't recreate and match 100% what happens in a real life photo
having said that hope you gonna like the new advancements I made, for the installation please, be aware that in the zip file you will now find a ppfilter named realityreshade.ini and subfolder structure, you don't need to do anything different you already did in previous versions, but it is recommandable to drag and drop everything from scratch, including reshade folders and profiles, as per how to make everything work properly, also referes to the screenshot tutorial for general guidelines on how to install . please also be aware that the new ppfilter requires the latest pure 0.235 and latest CSP to work properly.
Dear community ENJOY!!!, please feel free to shoot videos footage on youtube and such but please give me credit by sharing this page in your video description, I put a lot of effert and countless hours to make this and hope you appreciate the efforts I makefor giving you all the most realistic experience possible.
On a sidenote, AMS2 and LMU have not been forgotten, I'm working on them as well, so ou can enjoy these 2 other great simulators in the most realistic way possible

Pleasure. For the leaderboard app I recommend you search on race department where you gonna find a new and more update one, this one I have was made by a different author of which I only updated the assets for the 2022 season but the project was discontinued. Someone else made a new version now and it's on racedepartment/overtake

ieon the type of keybord you have but it is next to the home key, you can assign by the way your own shortcuts by opening reshade menu and going into the options tab
