So I just realized something funny. I hate when someone's talking to me when I'm brushing my teeth. I would react like a real brat if I was gaged and and the women who gaged me decided to ask me questions. Eye rolling, Lifted eye brows, as sarcastic a shrug as I could manage and a dead pan stare. Not the most survival focused approach, but it would be funny I retrospect.
