i get what you mean about jongho. hitting the notes he does and being able to sing with such power takes a lot of energy. so i'm pretty sure they said he does save and distribute his energy throughout performances to able to do so. he's also had leg injuries throughout the years that probably make him have to take it easy a bit. i would recommend watching dance practices to see him dance without having to worry about preserving his energy for singing. especially hala hala imo

Jongo doesn't go as hard chores wise in live performances because of he needs to reserve energy to sing, he has talked about times when he hasn't calmed down a bit and went all out on stage and it caused him to almost pass out.

Jongho's dancing goes crazy. If you watch their dance practices then you will be able to see more of his dancing. Specific videos that you can find are ones from their old concerts (pick it up and sicko mode are top tier). I believe San also said that Jongho was one of the best at krumping within the members you can see it in the Guerrilla dance practices and in the dance break of the Halazia dance practice, their sicko mode dance they did at their concerts and in Wave- Overture from the first episode of kingdom he can go hard when he doesn;t have to focus on singing its honestly so impressve.

It's funny you bring up Jongho's dancing ability, because Ateez have all said he's one of their best dancers (they're literally all SO good so idk how they rank themselves according to dance) and he's naturally good at hip-hop specifically! I think they said he's the best at popping and krumping (or really any LA street style of dancing). He picks up new things very well and is just overall a beast technique-wise. The reason you don't notice too much of it is because there's a lot of focus placed on him for his vocals which gets incorporated into the official choreo for their songs. There's probably a compilation of his dancing out there somewhere, but I notice his dancing the most when he's doing TikTok challenges or during dance practices when he isn't singing so he can just focus on the dancing itself.

Also that's by far the least interesting stage they did on Immortal Songs (they still won this show though) I think most people dont like this song (myself included) but the episode was a Rain special so they had to pick a song from him. They've been on Immortal Songs 6 times as a group (and won 4 times) and Jongho went twice solo.

Jongho was injured early on, and it wasnt able to heal correctly! He had to take a hiatus semi-recently because of it (he'd been getting injections to keep the pain at bay for concerts 🥲) but he did a lot of physical therpay during that time! So he can definitely break it down 👀 so i think he just takes it easy for his health?
