The game has proverbs and idioms. I think it's harder to understand because international fans aren't familiar with Korean proverbs. For example 'little strokes fell mighty oaks' means that small actions still have a large effect when repeated. You can think of it it as chipping away at something over time like cutting down a tree with many swings of an axe. 'A needle thief becomes a cow thief' this is could be likened to 'give an inch they take a mile' in English. It's like the idea that if someone is ok with stealing something small today, one day they will be ok doing something worse.

That's Interesting, my take on it was that petty thefts can turn into greater crimes if left unpunished. That small problems, if left unaddressed, could lead to more troublesome situations in the future. I like your explanation though.

I think the "needle thief becomes a cow thief" means that a small misdemeanor such as stealing a needle, can lead to greater and greater crimes if the thief is let go without consequences. Like, something small, if left unaddressed, can become something bigger and worse

I think with the “a needle thief becomes a cow thief” it’s like if someone is willing to steal something as small as a needle then they wouldn’t hesitate to steal something as big as a cow…. I could be totally wrong but that’s my guess😂😂😭
