I get where you’re coming from in terms of wanting to be a part of a culture but you gotta remember that these Asian artists are being inspired by hip-hop, which stems from black culture. Culture is just a shared lived experience and being black in America is a whole mountain of shared lived experiences, art, and achievements. I’m not sure what I’m getting at but you said it yourself, you’re proud of being black, as you should be!
