the Glory is a phenomenal drama, it can be hard to watch but super duper satisfying with a twisted but cute love story imbedded in it so I know why people are suggesting it. I personally feel like Nigel would enjoy it as well

I don’t believe they were partners, the guy in the flashback was a different person. I believe the king of spades apologized and said he did it since it was “the only way” he could save them, because he believes by killing as many people as possible, he was saving them from whatever comes next in this world. And Aguni could sympathize with him feeling remorseful after willingly killing so many people bc he did the same thing at The Beach s1. Even if it was for a different reason, he knows what it’s like to go on a killing spree, he knows the guilt. Which is why he said he never blamed him bc he understood his side of things.
