boys planet is genuinely the best competition show that has ever been. 😭 the connection and bonds the contestants formed, how they genuinely got to be so close and how they ALL supported one another whenever anyone needed it, the pure talent, the judges actually forming bonds with them and allowing for some fun even during evaluation challenges, the amount of iconic stages we got and everyone was so unapologetically themselves. nothing will ever top it. 😭

The Real mv is a nod to the movie Volcano High which is kind of a cult classic in Korea. It even has a US version with Snoop Dog, Lil Jon, and Tracy Morgan! The more you know....😄

For a better perspective (no pun intended) Actually ‘Better’ and ‘Still Here’ are songs on fever epilogue just the Korean version. The original tracks were Japanese and the album A to Z is a Japanese release, so technically it was one album you listened to therefore you can go back and give it a rating if you’d like! beyond zero is also a Japanese release with songs from other albums just in Japanese, there’s only two exclusive songs on there called ‘The King’ and ROCKY (boxers version) and ROCKY is a song from Fever Part 3 so do with that what you will. The one you were suppose to do is Fever Part 3 bc it’s after Fever Part 2! Also I believe you missed one of the songs on fever epilogue it’s called Answer (Ode to Joy) (Feat. LA POEM). So to make things less confusing the next album review you’d be doing it’s Fever Part 3 (+answer (ode to joy) (feat. LA POEM) & The King & Rocky (boxers version) and after that you are done with the Fever series! The next album(s) are like singles 1. DREAMERS. [has an exclusive song called ‘Blue Summer’ and the single ‘Dreamers’ the other two songs on the single are remix’s basically] 2. BE MY LOVER [it has 3 songs ‘Be my Lover’ ‘white love’ (which is like a Christmas song) and the one you know ‘The Black Cat Nero’] 3. DON’T STOP [a single with no other songs it also has an MV you should check out!] after those you’d be onto the next series which is THE WORLD series! which the first of them are THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT! I hope this helped some if at all 😭

Ateez typically performs The Real at concerts, and they switch up who does the dance breaks at the end. I remember seeing the members vs their back up dancers (bbt) at the end of one The Real performance and it was soooo fun to watch

Finally someone understands me, in my opinion Better is one of their best songs, it is beautiful and one of my favorites, both versions in Japanese and Korean, Fever Epilogue is also one of my personal favorites, I love ballads and this album has the best ones, before moving on to THE WORLD series don't forget to react to Fever Pt3, it doesn't have many songs and it has 2 music videos that I love and I'm sure you'll like them

I love their entire discography but The World Series as a whole is my favorite era. I realize now that Nigel calls their albums “projects”. They are mini-albums. Each era is just one long concept album cut into smaller chunks. Everything flows together.

I agree with this comment and just wanted to add that, Nigel when you circle back to FEVER part 3, could you add in their Dreamers album? Dreamers is a Japanese release that came out a month before FEVER part 3, and I think the three songs on it are your vibe. And I beg you to listen to Still Here (acoustic ver) on that album it's really good. Note Mingi was on hiatus during the Dreamers album.

Nigel my guy, you know I love you to death and I appreciate everything you do, but you really gotta double/triple check what you’re reviewing before you review it, king. Not only did you skip Fever part 3, but you also forgot one of the tracks on Fever epilogue (Answer - Ode to Joy ver). Granted, you’ve heard that version before on Kingdom, but STILL. It would’ve been legendary to revisit that performance through the perspective of a baby ATINY. Also, for clarification, the original versions of Better and Still Here were released in Japanese on Into the A to Z, but they were re-released in Korean (the versions you listened to) on Fever Epilogue. So they WERE technically part of the same project. Hope that helps. Again, I mean absolutely no disrespect here. All love!!

I know atinys already said Fever Part 3 is missing still, but anyway what I wanted to say is before you jump in the World series, is a complete series of eps all based on lore. Since I know you love lyrics, I am a bit scared about it. Honestly the world series is amazing and with amazing lyrics, but they are inside a context of a group of people fighting for freedom, dealing with fear, flaws and hopes, so is based on what is going with them into the lore as black pirates fighting. They are very human but also dark because of the whole situation >.< Since you love bright lyrics, the context is needed T_T

Pleaseee make sure you go back to Fever pt 3!!! I would advise you go off the lists atiny gave you in your post awhile back to make sure you don't accidentally skip an album. The mv for The Real is based on a Korean martial arts movie called 'Volcano High'. Like you said, Mingi is the new kid, and the clubs are fighting to get him to join, but also test his strength. Yeosang is the true leader of the school, the peacemaker. You've gotta watch live performances of The Real and Wonderland (versions after Kingdom). The choreo goes crazy for The Real and the members always change in the dance break. For Wonderland, we get Mingi in the performance and they're still as show-stopping as the Kingdom perf.

The Real MV is essentially high school cliques. Mingi is the new student. WooSan are the jocks, Jongho and Yunho (2Ho) are the bikers, Matz are the rich kids, and Yeosang is possibly the principal? Lol Please watch any live performances you can of this, they are so fun!!!!!

A to Z was a Japanese release, that's why the majority of the songs are from previous albums, just their Japanese versions. 'Still Here' and 'Better' are originally Japanese songs, but they re-released them as Korean versions on Fever Epilogue. The original 'Still Here' doesn't actually have Mingi's part because it was while he was on hiatus. But for me at least, the Korean version is way more touching because of the back-and-forth with Mingi and Yunho for the outro and the meaning of the song. It just feels like Yunho is specifically telling Mingi that he's still here, whenever he needs him. And they're in this together. Pretty sure both songs are messages for themselves/each other. I might have to listen to Turblence on my own after this reaction... There was an unknown 9th member during the performance...😏

A to Z has songs you've heard before because it's a Japanese repackaged album and if you were going the way you've been (ie: skipping Japanese albums) you would've skipped this one. You listened to the Korean versions but A to Z has the original versions which are in Japanese. You would done Fever Pt 3 then Fever Epilogue which is when the Korean versions were released. I'm not complaining though cause I love Better and Still Here. You gotta go back to Part 3 for my queens Eternal Sunshine and Not Too Late.

Nigel what you will start to get used to is the way Ateez build to the chorus, but throughout the song the chorus gets harder and harder so the whole song turns out to be the buildup that leads you to the finale (end of song). Once you get used to that and appreciate it, go back to some of the older ones you weren’t sure about and hear them again…I promise your perspective will be different!! That’s what happened to me the more I listened to their songs. Always looking forward to your reactions thank you!! 🫶🏻

Also! Nigel you should really check out the Beginning of the End concert! The full dvd with English subs is on YouTube! It’s a great place to start seeing Ateez’s live shows and the full vision they have for the songs from the Treasure and Fever eras. Plus songs that they don’t perform anymore or that they didn’t perform at Coachella
