Saying that you are “supporting the stray kids” by streaming the song sounds ignorant and tone deaf in the context of the genocide going on right now. By streaming this specific song, you are still funding someone who is in support of the genocide, even if your intention is “just to support the stray kids”. Stays should know that there are many other ways to support the stray kids, like streaming their other collabs and albums.

You should be loud about boycotting in the sense that you give people information and let them come to their own conclusions with what they're given, try to get companies attention, and make sure that the reason you are boycotting is heard by the people in power that are responsible. It doesn't mean confronting, guilt tripping and demanding that ppl who virtually have no impact, speak up and make their stance clear. If you are uncomfortable with a creator choosing to be silent or choosing react, you can just stop supporting them, it's as simple as that.

I'm disappointed in the community as a whole because I feel like boycotting this collab would have sent a powerful message and by not following through with it instead the message that is being sent is that the streams of one song for a group (that is brilliant and will undoubtedly have many other songs that we can support in future that don't involve the collaboration of a zionist, rape apologist who hasn't even put a single ounce of effort into promoting the song) is more important than real human lives. boycotting is about being loud. a quiet boycott accomplishes nothing. you will have to get used to it bc this situation is just going to get worse. creating content is not an excuse. content creators can choose what to react to and multiple skz reactors have chosen to boycott the single as well. i think it’s fair for people to want to know where he stands when we are giving our hard earned money to him.

to dubi - boycotts are not only to stop something from literally happening but they are also standing in solidarity to show support/for a cause. charli is also a r4pe apologist and overall awful person. if you want your money to go to him (he is getting the most from this, the kids are getting the least, this has already been proven), then you go ahead. but it is not “guilting people” to express disappointment for something so simple like not streaming a song. something people like yourself need to understand, since genocide and zionism isn’t enough of a reason for you guys, this is HURTING the kids’ reputations. they are already being included on celeb blackout lists due to their zionist associations. people are starting to realize that zionism is not something they want to be associated with, and they will start to pull support from people barely even associated with zionism… you guys care a lot about the charts and their reputation so if people dying doesn’t persaude you, at least think about how this is negatively impacting the kids and their future. i think you will soon realize that you want to be on the right side of history. i want the kids to be on the right side of history as well. i just hope you guys aren’t scrambling to prove anything later on, if this gets worse and it will, when this comes back to bite you.

listening to a stray kids song is not impacting a literal genocide, donating and showing support like signing petitions will. Everyone is allowed to have their hobbies and sources of happiness, again this is not impacting Palestine.
