Nigel, you're sooo right about K-Ballads. Korean Ballad singers are a different BREED. I'm so happy the culture of ballads is still thriving in K-music. It's died in the west and I LOVE BALLADS so much, it makes me sad. A lot of Ksingers look up to the greats of the west too but unfortunately our music industry hasn't really put much into bringing in a new generation of greats, at least not mainstream like it was before the Millennium. A lot of them have passed or aged now. I fell in love with Korean ballads when I got into K-dramas. The OSTs have some of the greatest K-ballads of all time. Esp, the older dramas of 2000-2010. Anyway, I'm so glad I watched this with you :) Starting my BTS journey with you has been so much fun. I had no idea JK had such a VOICE on him ♥
