I literally watch this cover once a week. This is their song now, and I LOVE Shinee. But just like you said, Stray Kids took this song and made it better, and I still don't know how that is possible. I don't like this particular video, too many video edits. I like the still camera that gives the overview so you get the magic of the choreo as well, cause you are right again, they bodied this choreo. I just wish the would release this covers audio to be enjoyed on Spotify, cause I would literally listen to it every day. I also really want to see Shinee reaction to this cover especially because Stray Kids are close with them (or at least Taemin love Hyunjin and Key loves Felix)

I didn't know if they were gonna do it, but they did SO GOOD. Now that I think about it they're doing a lot of the things now that shinee was(and is still) known for in their prime. Intricate choreo that makes you WANT to watch the dance practice(shinee were the first to release a dance practice, which at the time was straight up a video of them practicing and not a production of its own like today. I think it was lucifer people were like "screw the mv I'm trying see what yall DOIN") stable vocals and managing to do that choreo and vocals at the same time. Mic is always ON, similar to taemin, most skz members are not afraid of wearing feminine clothes, and putting femininity in to dance as well. They have hyunjin and shinee has minho. Hot, and everyone reminds them all the time 😂.

The fan meeting was held in Korea for 3 days. On the third day they live streamed it on beyond live. The tickets were only like $41 if you payed to watch the re-streaming in May. I got to watch it. Nigel! KCON is a multi day event that happens in different cities around the world. KCON Hong Kong just wrapped up a few days ago. Right now, the L.A lineup hasn't been released, but according to the website, the dates will be July 26th-28th. Now, multiple artists will perform on a given day and will perform for about 20-30 minutes (?). If Stray Kids does attend this year, I’m going to be honest, you’re going to have to sit through other group’s performances since Stray Kids will mostly likely perform last. If you’re willing to stick around and check out other groups and see what they’re like, then go for it! Otherwise, you’re gonna be waiting for stray kids to take the stage for a hot minute. Honestly, I think you should try and get a ticket when Stray Kids go on tour, we are getting a world tour in 2024, but you get to make that decision Nigel. If you do go to Kcon, have fun! Also, Stray Kids will be headlining Lollapalooza Chicago this year. Their performance date will be August 2nd. Tickets are on sale now if you’re interested!

Nigel, KCON LA is July 26-28. I believe they have not said who will be performing yet. Last year they had 3 nights. Check this out : the first night's headliner was Taemin (who is a soloist from SHINee, he had the long hair in the video, and is an absolute legend). The second night's headliner was Ateez (time to stop sleeping on them, seriously), and the 3rd night's headliner was SKZ!!! And Chan was the emcee for the 3rd night as well. Hopefully SKZ will be there again. but we also really need the world tour to come to the US! Exciting days ahead!!!!! (Oh, and Ateez will be the first kpop bg to headline at Coachella this year). It's a win for Staytiny everywhere!!!

As someone who's been to SEVERAL kcons, kcon is a 3 day event. Certain acts perform on certain days. Kcon gives you the option to purchase a specific day or you can go to all 3. I mainly go for Stray Kids so i get tickets for the day that Stray Kids perform but I also have Stay multistan friends so they get tickets for the day Skz perform as well as whatever day their other group performs. I believe it's 6-8 artists to perform per day. They'll usually do a special stage. Bang Chan hosted kcon in LA twice and 3racha did a special stage and performed an exclusive song just for kcon called Yeah

Skz fanmeeting is a 3 day event held in Korea but the 3rd day is livestreamed for global/international fans. The ticket for the livestream is like $30 I think for a single viewing. They also give you the option to watch it once and then restream it at a later date. I bought that one and it's only like $10 more. So about $40. If you break it down, it's like $20 per viewing

The last day of the fan meet was 4 and a half hours long it was a concert with like an hour of extra fun stuff ... I had a beyond live ticket and got to watch it live on Easter Sunday (starting at 4AM) STAYs got the hearts/likes over a million! there is going to be an encore broadcast on May 5th I believe and I have that ticket too ... However, I was a shawol (SHINee fan) before I was STAY, so I have to recommend SHINee's live performance of Sherlock because comparing SKZ' live cover to the lyric video of Sherlock is apples to oranges or rather one apple to a whole apple pie... with ice cream. Even still, I can't compare them because I love both groups so much and Stray Kids totally made it their own thing. You will probably not change your opinion much since you have no emotional attachment to SHINee versus Stray Kids (for which you have seen the emotional journey and development in skills for each of the members literally from before they debuted to now), but you will at least have more of an appreciation for SHINee. SHINee (pronounced shiny) is an actual legend in kpop. They introduced me to kpop too. You would absolutely love. Jonghyun was considered one of the best vocalists, same with Onew. All of them are so incredibly talented and Taemin is one of the most famous artists tbh. Taemin was actually my first bias, but Jonghyun was my inspiration to be a better singer. ❤️

This cover just shows how much they have grown. To take a loved kpop song from one iconic group that is their senior and pay image to them but also keep it Straykids is amazing. Imagine trying to divide parts to make it work or editing the choreography. Going from 5 to 8 members is crazy. This song was the biggest flex that Straykids could have done to show the F off. They are all allrounders. The singing. The dancing. The rapping. The HARMONIES!!! They all killed it. Every member has a highlight moment and it makes me so happy and proud to be STAY 🥰😭🥺💕
