In 2015 I started to be a hard core BTS fan. But even tho the fandoms were trash I wasn't deaf, BigBang got me on a choke hold, GD is a genius! Good boy performance og GD and Taeyang is epic, A shade on Mama live then a breath taking performance. Exo and GOT7 were amazing, but on the top of the top was SHINee, with our beloved Jonghyun, RIP angel ❤️. But after BTS, SHINee/Taemin and SVT are hand in hand on the top!

Their variaty show going seventeen is peak comedy and they don't even try. They have a subunit called BSS (BooSeokSoon) as the most crackheads, and the way the take very serious the work to be unserious, it's out of those world. Nigel, I feel you on this. I'm new to K-pop and have only really got into Stray Kids' music and some of BTS's. With other groups, I'm keeping an open mind, but I find myself liking a song or two. Some groups are crazy talented, but they start to sound similar. What I like about Stray Kids and BTS is that they sound distinct to me on top of very talented and extremely good music. And then their personalities hook you in deeper.

This is 2019 seventeen, they've definitely grown a lot since then but this remains one of my favourite songs by them, I'd recommend their song super next. Came out last year and was one of the title tracks for their album which broke all previous preorder records, skz broke their record the month after. Also their content going seventeen is hilarious and a great way to get into the members, similar to run bts

But let me put you on rq, SVT are funny as HELL like I'm talking cacklung till you can't breathe random asf hilarious so I recommend watching "Going SEVENTEEN Ep:27" where they escape the haunted floor, that shii is beyond hilarious I promise you it's so worth it and if you ever want, SOS is a helluva good song I think you'll like, Kidult too, I won't put em all but fr check it out I promise you'll enjoy that episode. On top of it all can I just say every kpop group has an aesthetic for their songs, SKZ can make a song out of anything, ATZ, BTS, everyone has an aesthetic and you've got to hear a decent amount of other artists songs to be able to really tell by it, that's why I can never think the songs all sound the same, you just needs hear MORE. seventeen will be worth getting into!! you'll find that their music is pretty different from others because same as stray kids, they're fully self-produced so they have a unique sound specific to their group; their killing voice has a lot of snippets of some of their songs so that could be something for you to check out next

Yess SVT!! As a multi, I love it when you take a look at other groups. So sad i missed the livestream, especially since p1harmony is one of my favorite groups that's not from a massive company. But anyway I like seventeen's music overall. Their FML album was the best selling album in the world in 2023 (skz was #2 on the list!) If you want to look at some other groups in the future that you haven't seen yet, then I'd suggest The Boyz, NCT, Enhypen, or maybe some legendary groups like Shinee or Exo. And of course I would be happy to see more Ateez. If you're interested in hearing a different sound from what you mentioned in the video, then maybe try some 5th gen groups like Riize or ZeroBaseOne. The newer groups tend to lean into a more bright and playful vibe though so I'm not 100% sure if you'd like it.
