Nigel, could you change the subtitles from English CC to simply "English". The one you have on right now is what the dub actors are saying. You get what the og Japanese actors are saying with "English"

Maybe I can help! The distance listed on the phone is the distance away from the goal. The farther you get away from the goal, the bigger the distance number (bad). The closer you are to the goal, the distance number is smaller (good). The way you win is if the distance is 0, meaning you are at the goal. So when Arisu is running back to the truck, the number is getting smaller, meaning he's getting closer to 0 and the goal. Hope that helps!

I don't know if anyones left a comment about this and if its already obvious, but each of the characters represent the original alice in wonderland characters alice - arisu (japanese pronunciation of alice) the rabbit - usagi (japanese word for rabbit) tweedledee and tweedledum - karube and chota cheshire cat - chishiya (japanese word for fatal) and later on you'll meet more people that represent characters from the original story !!

usagi’s dad didn’t hate her. 😭 their relationship was very sincere, the only reason he left her to go back to the mountains was bcs people were saying he faked his climbs. that’s why he says “i don’t know who started these rumors, but i have never lied.” so to prove them wrong he headed back to the mountains but this time he just didn’t end up coming back. can’t wait for episode 5 ! it gets crazier from here, nigel. 😭

It made me SOOO angry when I first found that out watching this show when it first dropped. I was PISSED asl, but dumbfounded at how the “gamemasters” actually knew how to trick everyone with something in plain sight.
