Besides everything that everyone has already stated (which I completely agree with!) when I watch Ateez I feel like I'm watching a musical. Every single one of them is amazing at singing dancing and acting. Like their facial expressions, energy and emotions just make you feel so immersed in whatever they are doing. For me that's something that makes them different to watch.

The thing that sets them apart for me is that I find Ateez has this real true sense of identity. Regardless of whether its a ballad or title track or solo song. Everything kind of exists outside of what is 'trendy' so there's something really authentic about how much they love their own music and what they do. They've come from a small company so to know that they've trusted themselves and stuck to their guns after years of people saying they're doing 'too much', they know who they are.

Big agree on Ateez just feeling different, especially when you first get into them. There’s just something incredibly humbling and genuine about the way that they started out and the amount of work and hardships that they faced to receive the success that they have without the tools and resources that all of these groups under the big 4 got. It’s honestly a miracle the way that they boosted in popularity, but it also just proves how hard they’ve worked and how dedicated they are to the profession. There’s a reason rookies from small/medium sized companies look up to them the way that they do, and it’s BECAUSE they were that anomaly that so many hope to be in an industry as competitive as kpop. And it’s also so endearing how grateful and appreciative they are for every small thing they have. They perform as if every performance could be their last, because that’s the reality of what they faced as rookies and it continues to stick with them to this day. They deserve everything they have and so much more beyond that. So excited for you to get in depth with them 😭💛

You know what is different about Ateez that you can’t figure out? They are before their time….the type of music they sing is more than kpop. Because when I went through their discography I was confused on why they are not as big as some of the groups that are big because if we being real…ateez is much more talented and their music is phenomenal so the only conclusion I can come up with is their music is way too advanced for this new wave of kpop and yes this is live you can hear it lol
