So my very CORRECT take on this song is basically 'don't kys' we're all lost and suffering on this hell planet but there's beauty in it, keep going and see it till the end with your own eyes, why end it earlier when it's gonna end anyway! He calls it 'the burning world' but he also calls it 'beautiful', he says we're 'crossing it' which means it's a temporary, we're just in passing. It's gonna end one day anyway, why not see it to the end, you know. He even says 'think once more, I know your scars' - basically don't make that choice, I've been there. Also I think the title Maybe suggests the possibility of living on. The part where he says 'maybe this is outside the oasis' suggesting, maybe you're one step away from the good things in life, don't give up. Or 'the sky is deceptively beautiful, but it could change any moment' as in, you never know what's around the corner but it's all a part of the journey. It's a cycle, it will pass, you can't stop the time! Also at the beginning of the song he says 'you've been here, you've crossed this path effortlessly', I think it's so important cause it's a cycle of life! He could also be talking to himself very literally! The song says SO many things in not many words, it's very comforting, easy on the ears and mind, I feel like falling asleep whenever I listen to it! p.s. I won't apologise for the rant, hanpop deserves all the appreciation it can get!!

For this song it took a couple listens to fully get the vibe to it, so I understand how you felt. And it's also okay if a song isn't your cup of tea. Nigel Han said he is still trying to find his sound, he will continue to try to sing/write songs to display the different sides of him. I love that he's not afraid to explore and he said he loves honest comments because he reads them and considers them. He doesn't want to stay in a box because that makes him bored.
