It’s called Alice in Borderland because it’s kinda like a different world that they are in right now,and this netflix show is based on the manga “alice in borderland”.Alsooo,if you pick on the small details of this show,you’ll realize that the main lead is “Arisu”,his Japanese name,which literarly translates to “Alice” in english☺️☺️☺️🥰

Idk if you know but you have “english (cc)” captions on instead of just the english captions, like another person on here said, that’s a direct translation from the english dubbed, but it also includes subtitles of sounds like breathing or music. if you want just what they’re saying then that would be only the english subs. I loved this reaction i’ve been waiting so long for it😊<3

I apologize. I didn't know if he realized this was loosely based on Alice in Wonderland. I know it took me so long to realize that "Arisu" meant Alice, "Chishiya" meant Cheshire cat and "Kuina" meant the queen. I wasn't smart enough to figure that out at the beginning so I thought it would make the show more intriguing and meaningful if a newbie knew ahead of time bcuz it would've made the show ten times better if I knew before I watched it. I'm genuinely sorry if I disappointed you or Nigel. I truly didn't mean to spoil or disappoint anyone.

If you haven't figured it out yet, this is an absolutely amazingly creative show playing off the story of Alice in Wonderland. Arisu (sounds like Alice in Japanese), you'll soon meet characters like "Chishiya" as in the Cheshire cat and "Kuina" as in the Queen. This show is so amazing and yes it's an interpretation on Alice in Wonderland.
