🕑 Added 2018-09-10 19:21:20 +0000 UTC I was looking at some models for Star Ocean: Anamnesis to see if I could get something I can work with later in the future.The textures are pretty low res, being at most 1024x1024 with 512x512 being the most common. There's also many layers broken in to the R G and B channels, it's amazing how shaders can take those textures and make them look really good.
Here are some rendered stuff.

Because of the low res of these textures, you can see how muddy it kind is in certain areas.

Other models that interested me were Freya and Precis, but I haven't taken a good look at them just yet.
Some of the models currently are unable to be extracted, but the creator of the tool at Xentax is doing a good job so far.
These models are pretty low poly. It's no surprise really since it was intended for mobile games, but it's probably the best official 3D model of the Valkyries we have access to so far.
Idea is still up in the air.

Elysium doesn't post his stuff anymore, either that or I simply can't find where his downloads are available. I will be looking forward to Fiore and possibly Myuria? SO Sorceress = WIN
Thanks for the support! I like Fiore a lot, but I ideally want to get my hands on the SO5 model since the mobile one is pretty low quality, but it's the best we have access to atm. On the technical side of things, making the bodysuit would be pretty difficult. I've been testing stuff this past week and haven't found a good shader setting that would allow for clean cutouts AND affected by lights and shadow. There's a Reimi mod floating around from another modder, but it's not freely distributed, but the game models from both the console and mobile game exist so it might be something in the future poll.
i can honestly say i'd be looking forward to fiore; i'm a big fan of the star ocean series and don't see a whole lot of love for them. haven't played the one you're referring to but if possible i'd love to see Reimi too.
