That was delightful! Harry is a good boy despite being a BSD. Enthusiastic consent all around, Lilith being a good "Auntie" meaning that she believes that Hermione is going to be in his life for a good long bit that her tutelage will not go to waste

Love the fact that James and Lily were allowed to keep contact with him even if rather limited

I would have made it so it appeared all over her body, not just a little mark near the collarbone. All over her whole torso. Still concealable but not something she can ignore either. A single mark on the collarbone while painful and memorable will with time become something she can ignore.

I like the new chapter very much, and I'm glad you are continuing the story.

No, she doesn't. I imagine Snape mostly ignores her out of shame.

Brian Jordan

Side question: in canon, Harry's strong resemblance to his father meant Snape could never not see the man Snape so disliked whenever they met. Am I correct in assuming Heather doesn't suffer that disadvantage? Not a key story point but I am curious.

Brian Jordan

Harry has a fairly nice person attitude despite his current address. I'm not saying I don't agree with you - Umbridge is one of those individuals who make canon Snape seem somewhat tolerable - but Harry has held onto a fair bit of his decency. Besides if the woman is stupid enough to do something to irk him again, I do not think she will be even faintly happy with the results. How does the line from Get Smart go? 'Nice is nice but enough is enough?

Harry should have suppressed the pain till she was done with her detention and then once his sister left let it all hit the toad at once tftc

Elias

Excellent

I am delighted and surprised to have the second chapter here so soon. I also appreciate that Harry is taking it slowly to make certain Hermione doesn't shy away. Of course, some expect things to move a bit more rapidly and for them, there is Lilith. (G) I have to wonder if (assuming things get that far) Harry will take a direct hand in matters at the Department of Mysteries. For that matter, has old man Riddler realized he may - for perfectly obvious reasons - be focused on the wrong Potter in terms of the prophecy? ('The power he knows not, indeed.) Beyond that, Professor, I thank you and say 'please sir, may we have some more'?
