A Family Affair: Chapter 3

Waking up with a groan, Astoria threw off her covers with a sigh. Checking herself in the mirror, she used her wand to fix her hair and brush her teeth. As she straightened up, she ran her hands over the light blue silk nightie that barely covered her breasts with a smirk. It was even thinner and looser than the ones she’d worn last week, sure to draw the eye of any man, even Saint Potter.
She was sick and tired of Daphne rubbing her relationship with him in her face. She had everything so easy, dating a man who had the whole of magical Britain eating out of his hand, while Astoria had to work hard to help Draco rebuild his family’s ruined reputation. It angered her that Daphne got the money and status Astoria always wanted without even trying, while she had to mend and make do with a man that made it clear he would’ve preferred her older sister.
Draco had tried for years to get his father to arrange a marriage contract between him and Daphne. They’d even come within days of signing it before Potter’s shocking defeat of the Dark Lord. While Astoria was happy about that – her sixth year had shown her how nightmarish a world under his rule would’ve been – it also caused her a lot of problems. Before her seventh year, she’d never had trouble making friends outside of Slytherin. It seemed like with the threat of the Dark Lord gone, everyone was free to show their hated of anyone associated with his former house. It reached the point where defending Slytherins was treated as tantamount to defending the Dark Lord, making it impossible for her to get close to anyone outside her house.
Ironically, it was Potter that had tried the hardest to dispel that mindset among their classmates. But even dating the Ice Queen of Slytherin hadn’t been enough to soothe tempers and bridge the divide. So, Astoria had been forced to settle for Malfoy. Their relationship was one of convenience. He needed to marry someone with a good name to restore his family’s ruined public image, and she wanted someone with power and money to give her the life she desired. While the Malfoys had lost all of their political clout, they were still one of the richest and owned commanding shares in a lot of companies. With a little time and hard work, Astoria was sure their reputation would recover.
To make matters worse, Astoria was beginning to question her goals. Growing up, she’d seen the singleminded focus her father had on making money, experienced the joy of being able to buy anything she ever wanted, and connected the two. To live a happy life, she needed money and power to get what she wanted. Or, at least, that’s what she’d thought. Now, she wasn’t so sure. She had money and a good name – despite her father’s arrest – but she didn’t feel very happy. And yet her sister, who cared more about finding a good man than any amount of money or power, couldn’t stop smiling.
It just wasn’t fair.
Shaking her head, Astoria tried to focus on the positives. Draco would be coming back for his business trip to Italy today, and she was sure he’d be happy to see her. He might’ve wanted Daphne when they were younger, but she’d show him he’d lucked out getting her instead. He’d just been busy and stressed lately; that’s why he wasn’t paying her as much attention as she’d like. Now that his business was taken care of, he’d be happy to have a nice romantic dinner with his gorgeous girlfriend.
Still, that didn’t mean she couldn’t show her sister Potter wasn’t as great as she thought. Tugging her nightie down to show even more of her cleavage, she headed downstairs for breakfast. She smirked to herself as her breasts bounced freely under her top with each step.
Daphne’s breasts might be bigger, but hers were definitely perkier, she thought.
Stepping into the kitchen, Potter looked up and smiled. He was sitting sloe to Daphne, who was oddly dressed in fancy robes, while her mother made the morning coffee.
“Morning,” he said pleasantly.
Astoria grunted in response but smirked slightly when she watched his eyes dip to her breasts. They bounced lightly under her nightie with each step, then jiggled even more, threatening to bounce right out of her top when she roughly scooted her seat forward. Glancing at her sister, she gave her a small, triumphant smile. Daphne smiled back and rolled her eyes before returning to her conversation with Harry, causing Astoria to frown.
She couldn’t understand why her boyfriend’s wandering eyes didn’t bother her.
“Why are you dressed like that?” Astoria asked in annoyance.
“I have to attend a Wizengamot meeting this morning,” Daphne said.
“What happened to Uncle Aydan?” Astoria asked.
Aydan Greengrass was their father’s brother and had taken over the family seat on the Wizengamot when their father had been convicted.
“He’s fine,” Daphne told her. “I’m not taking the Greengrass seat. Harry named me his proxy.”
“Oh,” Astoria said.
Looking down at her plate, she held her fork in a death grip and raged internally. Draco’s family had been forbidden from sitting on the Wizengamot for a hundred years, and Daphne had one handed to her? It wasn’t fair!
Her mother set a cup of coffee in front of her with a warm greeting and then walked around the table to hand one to Harry and Daphne. As she sat in the seat next to Harry, Asotira felt it was symbolic. They’d all sided against her and what she wanted.
“What are your plans for today, Stori?” her mother asked, smiling kindly.
Astoria took a breath to calm down, telling herself she was overreacting.
“I’m going to see Draco,” she replied. “He got back from Italy this morning.”
“That’s nice,” Evelyn smiled.
She looked relieved, which Astoria found odd since her mother had told her countless times she didn’t approve of him.
“How was his trip?” Potter asked politely, though Astoria could tell he wasn’t really interested in the answer.
“I’m sure it went fine,” she answered stiffly. “Draco’s a skilled businessman.”
Potter nodded absently as Daphne asked him a question. Deciding to show him just what his rival would be getting later tonight, Astoria stood and leaned over the table to grab some toast. Under the pretext of looking for the perfect piece, she took her time, giving him a good look down the front of her nightie. Potter glanced down with a small smile before turning back to Daphne.
Frowning at his disinterest, Astoria decided to push things a little further. Grabbing the hem of her shirt, she gave it a tug to display more of her cleavage. Unfortunately, she tugged it harder than she had intended. The neckline of her nightie slipped under her nipple and got stuck on the underside of her perky mound, leaving it hanging in the open. “Of course not,” Daphne smirked, finally getting her laughter under control.
Scowling down at her plate, Astoria stabbed at her eggs. As her blush receded, she refused to be ashamed. She had a fantastic body, and Potter was lucky to get a brief glimpse of it, she decided. A few minutes later, Daphne gave Potter a kiss and left for the Ministry. Astoria left a couple of minutes later to get changed before heading over to see Draco. When she stood, she noticed Potter eyeing her figure appreciatively out of the corner of her eye. With a smirk on her lips, she swayed her hips on her way up the stairs.
After showering, changing, and putting on her makeup, Astoria headed back downstairs. Potter and her mother were still in the kitchen, talking quietly, when she entered.
“I’m off to see Draco,” she announced. “I’ll probably be back late.”
“Alright, dear,” her mother smiled. “Have a good time.”
Potter waved as she turned without a word and left. Walking through the living room and into the den, she grabbed a handful of Floo powder from the jar on the mantlepiece.
“Malfoy Manor,” Astoria said, tossing the powder into the fireplace.
Emerald green flames burst into life a moment before she strode forward purposefully. Swirling and spinning through the Floo system, she spotted her gate and gracefully stepped into the parlor at Malfoy Manor. As she used her wand to vanish the soot off of her blouse, Narcissa Malfoy stepped into the room.
“Well, this is a surprise,” she said. “It’s nice to see you again, Astoria. What brings you by?”
“I came to see Draco,” Astoria said, thinking it should be obvious. “He said he’d be back from Italy today.”
“He didn’t tell you?” Narcissa frowned.
“Tell me what?” Astoria asked, her brow furrowed.
“The Italian government is being obstinate because of his family name. Draco has to stay for another three days,” Narcissa said. “I thought he would’ve contacted you.”
“He didn’t,” Astoria said angrily. “I haven’t heard from him since he left. He told me his hotel didn’t have a Floo.”
Narcissa sighed and gave her a sympathetic look.
“The first hotel he stayed at didn’t, but the one he’s at now does,” she told her. “I can give you the address if you’d like.”
“Please,” Astoria said with barely controlled anger.
Walking over to the table next to the fireplace, Narcissa opened a red, leather-bound notebook and used a duplication spell to copy one of the pages.
“May I use your Floo?” Astoria asked, taking the parchment.
She’d prefer her family not to hear about this if possible. This would only give them more of a reason to dislike Draco.
“Of course,” Narcissa said.
Squeezing her shoulder with a smile, she left the room. Astoria was grateful for the privacy as she turned to the fireplace and threw in a handful of Floo powder. Growling out the address, she stuck her head into the flames. She found herself looking out at the inside of a beautiful beachfront hotel. Her anger was only further enflamed at the thought that she could’ve been relaxing there with her boyfriend. Things only got worse when she saw a group of witches in revealing bikinis walk past the front desk before a pretty brunette in a uniform turned to her with a smile.
“Hello, miss. How can I help you?” she asked with a mild accent.
“I’m looking for Draco Malfoy,” Astoria said.
Turning to the sign-in book, the woman looked through it before turning back to her.
“It looks like he left early this morning. Do you want to leave a message?” she asked.
“Tell him Astoria would like to know when he’s getting home,” Astoria said.
“Sure, is there anything-”
Astoria didn’t wait for the woman to finish before angrily pulling her head out of the flames.
“Would you like to stay for tea?” Narcissa asked.
“No, thank you,” Asotira said, brushing off her skirt as she stood. “I think I’m just going to go home.”
Reaching into the pot above the fireplace, she grabbed a handful of Floo powder.
“Draco will come around,” Narcissa said, halting her arm mid-throw. “All men need a bit of training to become proper husbands.”
Potter didn’t, her traitorous mind thought. Turning to look at Narcissa, Astoria gave a small smile that felt like more of a grimace before tossing the powder into the hearth and stepping into the flames. A moment later, she stepped back into the den of Greengrass Manor with a sigh. She was just glad her sister was here to rub this in her face.
As she thought about the best way to show Draco her displeasure, Astoria walked through the living room and towards the kitchen. Gradually, she became aware of an odd sound coming from that direction. Creeping towards the kitchen, she peeked around the corner and barely stifled a gasp.
Potter had her mother pinned to the table, moaning into his mouth as he thrust into her vigorously. Shock quickly gave way to anger. How dare this little Half-Blood cheat on her sister, with their own mother, for Merlin’s sake! As she looked over the scene, Astoria couldn’t help but gaze at his body appreciatively. Just as Astoria was about to burst into the kitchen and demand answers, a better idea came to mind. A way to get back a Daphne for getting everything she wanted, a way to get back at Draco for leaving her behind and forgetting about her, and a way to punish Potter for making her life so hard. With a smirk, she crept back to the den and grabbed a handful of Floo powder.
“The Leaky Cauldron,” she whispered, disappearing in a flash of green.

Harry smiled as Evelyn looked around Muggle London in awe. Her eyes jumped from one thing to another so fast he worried she might start to get dizzy.
“I can’t believe how much things have changed,” she said. “It’s completely different from the last time I was here. What are those rectangles everyone is holding?”
“They’re cell phones,” Harry said. “They allow you to send messages and make calls to almost anyone in the world, take pictures, play games, use the internet…”
“Internet?” Evelyn asked curiously.
“Muggles have created a way of storing the majority of their knowledge in a way that anyone with a signal can access it,” Harry explained. “It’s also used for entertainment, like watching movies. Oh, and porn, of course.”
Evelyn blushed and looked at him in surprise. Chuckling, he wrapped his arm around her waist and led her down the street. Stopping at a fancy restaurant, they walked inside and up to the hostess.
“Potter, table for three,” Harry said.
“Of course, sir. If you’ll follow me, your other guest has already arrived,” the hostess said, smiling brightly.
The attractive redhead led them to the back of the modest-sized dining room, where Daphne was already seated and looking over the menu. Spotting them, she smiled and stood to give her mother a hug and Harry a kiss.
“How’s the meeting going so far?” Harry asked.
“It’s going well,” Daphne smiled. “I trapped Parkinson in his own argument. Either he has to vote to lift the ban on Flying Carpets, or he’s admitting it’s a ploy to increase broom sales in England. I’m actually a little disappointed it was that easy.”
“You always were good at getting what you wanted,” Evelyn smiled as the waiter appeared and poured them all a glass of white wine.
“When do you vote on it?” Harry asked.
“After lunch,” Daphne said.
“I hope it passes,” he told her. “I’ve always wanted to have sex while flying. I tried it once on a broom, and it was horribly uncomfortable.”
“Who did you try that with?” Daphne asked curiously.
“Katie,” Harry answered with a smile. “We kept losing our balance, I couldn’t get any leverage to thrust, and the broom kept going place I didn’t want it to go. We ended up going back to the locker room and shagging the shower. That was a lot more fun.”
“Then it looks like I’ll have to take you up on a carpet once this amendment passes, won’t I?” Daphne smirked.
Harry smiled and leaned over to give her a kiss. It never ceased to amaze him just how kinky the Ice Queen could be. The waitress arrived a few moments later to take their orders. While they ate, they talked about what else had come up during the Wizengamot meeting and how Daphne planned to vote. Towards the end of the meal, they discussed taking a vacation on Black Island. Harry had been curious about it for years, and now that things had settled down, he was looking forward to getting away with Daphne and Evelyn for a week. What better place to go than a private island where they didn’t have to worry about anyone showing up uninvited?
“I also picked up that paperwork we talked about,” Daphne smiled.
“For what we talked about last night?” Harry asked.
Nodding, they both turned to look at Evelyn, who blinked in surprise. Harry took her hand in his while Daphne set the form in front of her. Reading the title, she gasped softly and covered her mouth.
“Daphne, are you sure…?” Evelyn asked quietly.
“Positive,” Daphne smiled. “Harry and I are agreed on this. All you have to do is sign, and you’ll officially be a mistress to house Potter.”
Reaching into her purse, Daphne pulled out a quill and held it up to her mother. With a shaking hand, Evelyn took the quill and looked between Harry and Daphne’s smiling faces. Blinking back tears, she signed the contract. As soon as she set down the quill, she threw her arms around Harry and hugged him tightly.
“Thank you,” she said tearfully. “I know I shouldn’t want this as much as I do, but….”
“You deserve it after your awful marriage to Father,” Daphne said.
Smiling brightly, Evelyn reached across the table and grabbed her daughter’s hand, squeezing it firmly.
“You’re too good to your old mother,” she said, smiling and wiping her eyes. “I just don’t know what I’m going to tell Astoria.”
“She’ll get over it,” Daphne said. “It’s not our fault she chose money over happiness.”
After Harry paid the bill, Daphne bid them goodbye and returned to the Ministry, promising to be back before dinner. Harry and Evelyn wandered around Muggle London for a couple hours, visiting a couple of clothing shops to get her some new Muggle clothing. He selected a couple of revealing outfits, and though she blushed, Evelyn still bought them. Eventually, they returned to the house. While she went upstairs to put her new clothes away, Harry went to the office to put away the Mistress contract.
“Where did you and Mother go?”
Harry looked up and blinked in surprise. As far as he remembered, this was the first time Astoria had started a conversation with him. She had also undone the top four buttons of her blouse, revealing a deep valley of soft, pale cleavage. “Hmm,” Astoria hummed, walking closer to him. “And is that all you were doing?”
“Yes,” Harry said slowly, his brow furrowed as he wondered what she was trying to get at.
Stopping in front of him, Astoria folded her arms under her breasts, nearly causing them to pop out of her blouse.
“Weren’t you going to visit Malfoy today?” he asked.
Her lips pursed, and her eyes narrowed as she glared at him.
“Not that it’s any of your business, but he’s still in Italy dealing with their Ministry,” Astoria said.
“I see,” Harry said, not sure what else to say.
“I actually came home a few minutes after I left,” she continued, her lips turning up in a smirk. “Do you know what I saw when I got back?”
Harry had a pretty good idea, considering the way she was acting. Curious about how she planned to confront him, he stayed quiet.
“What, nothing to say?” Astoria said mockingly. “Then I’ll tell you. I saw you cheating on Daphne with our mother. And here I thought Gryffindors were supposed to be noble.”
Harry decided to end that right there. He’d never do anything to hurt Daphne, and it angered him that she thought so little of him. However, as he opened his mouth to retort, she placed a finger over his lips.
“I don’t want to hear your excuses,” she said, stepping even closer until the tips of her breasts brushed his chest. “If you don’t want Daphne to find out, you’re going to meet me in my room tomorrow after she and my mother leave for the day.”
Without waiting for a reply, Astoria smirked and turned to leave the office.
“See you tomorrow, Potter,” she said, waving over her shoulder.
Sighing, Harry decided to talk to Daphne before figuring out what to do about Astoria.

“What the hell is she up to?” Daphne asked herself, pacing their room later that night. “I’d have expected her to ask for money or to help Malfoy with his business dealings. Why would she want you to come to her room?”
“I have no idea,” Harry sighed, hands behind his head as he laid back on the bed. “Should we just tell her? I mean, she was bound to find out eventually.”
“Maybe, but I want to see what she’s going to ask you for first,” Daphne said. “I’ll call in sick tomorrow and sneak into her room under your cloak. Just play along until she tells you what she wants.”
“Alright,” Harry shrugged. “I’m pretty curious myself.”
“We’ll deal with that tomorrow,” Daphne said, climbing onto the bed and crawling over him. “Now, I want you to tie me up and remind me who I belong to.”
Smiling, Harry waved his hand. Their clothes were ripped from their bodies, and they flew across the room, where they landed in the hamper. “Can’t you just tell me what you want?” Harry asked, trying to buy Daphne a few more seconds to get upstairs.
“Do as you’re told, or maybe I’ll go to the Prophet instead of my sister,” Astoria threatened.
Sighing, Harry stood, put his plate in the sink, and gestured for her to lead the way. Following her up the stairs, they walked down the hall to the third room on the right. Her room looked similar to Daphne’s, though there were noticeably fewer books and more posters of bands and Quidditch players. He looked around to see if he could spot any sign of Daphne, but there was nothing. Harry just had to hope she’d made it up there in time.
As he turned back to Astoria, he found himself at the end of her wand and cursed himself for letting his guard down. With a wordless spell, she knocked him back onto the bed and bound him to the bedposts, nearly identical to the position he’d put Daphne in the night before.
“What the hell are you doing?” Harry yelled though he was at least relieved to know he could free himself wandlessly any time he wanted.
“Oh, relax, Potter,” Astoria said. “I’m not going to hurt you. In fact, you’ll even enjoy this if you don’t piss me off.”
Before Harry could ask her what she meant, she grabbed the hem of her nightie and pulled it over her head. Of all the things Astoria might want from him, sex hadn’t even crossed his mind. She’d made it quite clear over the last couple of weeks that she didn’t like him.
“Why are you doing this?” he asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.
“A couple of reasons,” Astoria said, smirking when he eyed her chest as she stripped out of her flannel pants. “Daphne gets everything I ever wanted handed to her while I have to help Draco rebuild his family’s reputation. I’m sick of her constantly rubbing how perfect you are in my face, though I think we both know you’re not as perfect as she thinks.”

Smiling, Harry vanished the ropes holding him and rolled Astoria over on her back, pinning her to the mattress. Drawing half his throbbing length out of her clutching depths, he paused for a breath before thrusting back in.

Now, she didn’t have to worry about her youngest trapping herself in a loveless marriage. It also meant she didn’t have to hide what she did with Harry.
As for Harry, he was happier than he ever remembered being. And it wasn’t just because of the sex, though admittedly, that was part of it. He also loved his girls, and they loved him. Even Astoria had stopped trying to pretend otherwise.
There was just one last thing he needed to make his life complete.
“Evelyn,” Harry called.
“Yes?” she asked.
“Daphne and I were talking, and she mentioned you always wanted more kids,” Harry said.
“I did,” Evelyn admitted. “But Gerald gave up when the healers said I was likely to only have girls.”
Smiling, Harry reached into his pocket and pulled out a vial of blue potion.
“Why don’t we try now?” Harry asked.
Staring in shock, Evelyn covered her mouth with one hand and took the potion in the other.
“Really?” she asked softly, looking from him to Daphne.
“Really,” Daphne smiled. “Harry and I are getting married in a few months, but I don’t want to start having kids until our jobs are settled. I think Astoria plans to wait too, but Harry really wants kids. So, why not give you both what you want?”
Smiling tearfully, Evelyn uncorked the antidote to the Anti-Pregnancy Potion and downed it without hesitation. Grabbing Harry’s arm, she pulled him on top of her and kissed him passionately. With a grin, he pulled off her bottoms and kicked off his shorts.
Life was perfect.
