Seeing as though the mapping is complete it's time for the passes. I've gotten feedback from alpha testing that the level especially the underground is very dark on some monitors so i've gone through and adjusted basically every single light & probe on the level and tweaked the color correction & lighting states to ensure high visibility on all monitors.
Detail Pass
Currently performing the detail pass on the main sewer room by Pack-a-Punch. This is the current progress so far which has mainly consisted of model placement, blending & lighting adjustments.
Third Easter Egg Step
My main goal with designing this easter egg is to make it completely logical so that players can solve it like a puzzle and not by running around holding "f" on random shit until something happens magically. I want every player to be able to look at the environment and be able to analyze how things work and figure it out for themselves.
The third "step" will be getting access to Pack-a-Punch. To do so you must reroute gas lines into the Pack-a-Punch tunnel to use to detonate an explosion clearing the debris from the tunnel allowing you to walk up to Pack-a-Punch.
To reroute the gas lines you will need to follow the chrome pipe lines and turn the valves on/off to reroute the gas to the correct path. You will be able to see live where the gas is going and what you are doing to it through little slits in the pipe itself.
I've contacted marksman and he's modified the pipe model by Treyarch to be exactly as I want and he has done a great job. Credit to Marksman147.
We're still in the process of getting the other pipe lengths modified so it has not all been placed yet but you should still be able to understand conceptually of how it will work.
VKZU HUD
Robit has finished the art pass on the custom HUD and has sent all the elements off to NoobForLunch for scripting implementation! Here is what the HUD looks like currently!
Garage Door
Marksman saves the day again! He's modified the IW8 Garage Roll Up Door model to scale with the Garage's opening AND he's animated the entire roll up process! Check it out :)
