My initial plan for it was to make it a 7 or so minute oner with balloons and props changing and being added off-frame while we'd be shooting in one corner of the room; finish up and move onto the next setpiece, all without any cuts. Unfortunately it didn't pan out due to scheduling and later on the best rental had the windows be boarded up beacause of construction outside. No natural light makes the idea pretty much impossible. Oh well!
Instead I practiced more artificial light. It was pretty expensive... but the experience was worth it. Very important to know what fixtures are good since we'll be getting our own set very soon.
I figured out the scheme way ahead of time and overall the video looks class; unfortunately editing and direction are a bit lacking since we were running short on time. As always. This cosplay takes around an hour to put on, as it turns out.
Poor Carnelian had to contend with being slapped again. She already had some battle scars after the Nero x Tamamo vid and now her Furina cosplay offered just as little protection. The bruise has a very peculiar shape.
Finally, if you love the Blue Gentleman as much as I do the short parody is in the folder. Dan Hentschel is unironically the best comedian of the 2020s, at least in my opinion. Highly recommended. If you're wondering my favourite son is son loaf, my favourite colour character is forest green goober and my favourite car video is 'How a Grenade Ruined My Friend's Wedding'.
This might be the last set for the month; we'll see. I'd like to stay ahead of schedule and that'll require shooting our qipao video soon, possibly this month.

Or is it just certain types of balloons that tend to cause this? e.g. the bigger ones, those tightly inflated, etc... Those bruises look quite painful O.O</span></div></div>
