Flash File: More Yang than Yin (Shades)

Flash's Thoughts:
Yeah this was from a pack of commissions with no real ideas behind them it was more just whatever I could think of at the time to take advantage of a sale. For those confused about what the thing in the background that tgs them is, this is the French stage from SF3 set outside a nightclub and the front door has this giant metal skull that randomly shoots out some steam or something.
The French guy in this game has this really weird story about hating 'fighters' as a type of person because of family trauma or something (He has his sister entombed in ice like Mr Freeze's wife its very weird) and so for this story I suggested there to be a like, pacifist element to the tg to try and tie it in.
Ultimately I just wanted to do a goth tg and picked Yun and Yang because I was bored of Ryu and Ken all the time.

Well…Maybe if it was framed that he hates the whole ‘Street Fighter’ ideology. Getting into fights from pride or arrogance, that sort of thing. He represents a ‘noble’ kind of combat where he does it to mean something. Or…something like that. Just having a character in ‘Street Fighter’, who is meant to replace a very famous fighter(Guile), and he hates fighting…so he gets into fights…🫤

Funnily his story about hating 'fighters' actually makes more sense now after SF6 because World Tour has changed the setting where there actually are just comically 'fighters' all over the place with a fight culture and a hatred of them now makes more sense.

Oh, you’re talking about Remy from Street Fighter 3. Yeah…He’s a solid case of nice design, problematic mechanics, and a backstory that…was different. Not the worst, but not the kind of fighter that gets remembered.
