'Keep your hips moving! Keep pushing towards my tongue! Get used to this sensation. We can't do our job properly if we flinch whenever a patron touch our belly! Your first assignment is to get used to your navel being licked while you dance.' the senior tavern girl giving instructions to the trainee as the trainee struggle to keep her belly rolling while her senior place her tongue in her navel.
Some trainees struggle with this since some have very sensitive navel. The point of this exercise is not just to build resistance to sensations in the navel, but to get the girls used to the feeling of their navels being licked. They need to be able to keep themselves in control of the situation while having their navel played with, and of course, keep a smile on their face. Its not just to keep the patrons entertained, but it also a crucial skill for them so that they can escape any situation where a patron get a little too eager and excited.
At this stage of the training, the seniors basically just stick their tongue out and have the trainee bring their navel to the tongue. The trainee will have to complete a few minutes of belly roll while having the senior's tongue in their belly.
At the end of the training session, the senior in charge will decide whether or not the trainee is ready for the next part. If the trainee is qualified for the next stage, they will continue the training with higher intensity with the senior doing more things to their belly.
